We are living, and living in stressful times, as birth pangs. Things just keep getting worse, and people are just tired, and weary, and giving up. Those of us, who don't go out every day, on the force, to protect citizens, and meet all kinds of people, we should be praying for them, for their protection, not only physically but emotionally, mentallly. Nurses, Drs. Police, people who need to tell others to put their mask on if that certain environment requires it, not knowing if doing a job, is going to earn the wages of death. We all feel forsaken, at times, as were taking on the world, by ourselves, or town, state, or the president the entire United States, crumbling into poverty, despair distress, and uncertainty of tomorrow. God is Able to do the same for us, as humans. He does strengthen us, in his peace, when we find the time, to pray. The thief comes to rob us of that, with worry worry. "Philippian's 4:6 Do not be anxious about anything, but in every situation bring your prayer and petition with thanksgiving, and the Peace of God, shall guard your hear, and mind. What a powerful statement, his peace shall be a guard to our heart, and mind. It also says, men's hearts or men shall faint in fear of what's going on. And 365 times, Do not fear. For I am always with you. We will not take on the world with our 2 hands alone, but prayer does, it sends angels, and the power from God's throne, to fight, and protect us. OUr hearts and minds. Though the day is rugged, remember he knew it before we did, 2000 years ago, when he carried that rugged cross to show, prove his love and God's love for us. He did ressurect, and millions flock to Israel to see that tomb were He was put to rest, and angels came again, to say "who are you looking for, he is not here." The angels at Jesus's birth, delcared this, behold I bring you good tidings, peace on earth, good will towards men. His job was all about compassion. When we challenge life with anger and it doesn't give heart attacks, anger and reactions do. Thoughts are intrusive take the good, and leave the bad ones out.
Nehemiah 8:10 The joy of the Lord is my strength. Joy means to rejoice or to be glad. a place or means of safety, protection refuge to be strong. Psalm 118:24 This is the day that the Lord has made we will rejoice and be glad in it. Don't miss the word GLAD it didn't say mad in it. What's to be glad about, we see things in our natural not good things, but stop and smell the coffee, or Rose, go on a vacation, inhale the Ocean air, and watch the waves catching your feet, look at all the things that the Lord has done, and created, for us.
