Seriously? Or are you messing with us (I honestly can't tell with you anymore, lol)? I plan on seeing it in a couple of days. Kinda doubting it will live up to all the hype, but that may just be me being cynical (and maybe a little bit of the movie being over hyped).

Star Wars: The Force Awakens. It's an unusual beast. I'm not quite sure what I think of the movie just yet. Still have to digest it. Review to come later this afternoon (Aussie time).

I just watched The Hobbit: The Battle of Five Armies. We recorded it from our movie channel.

I love LOR, but his movie, like the first Hobbit movie was just terrible!! Just violence and stupid special effects. I'm glad I didn't have to pay for it.

I'm hoping to go to the new Star Wars soon, if my RA settles down. My husband won't come because he is tired and bored of Star Wars. Only time will tell if he is right!

Right?? (Well, I did like the first Hobbit, but I agree that the third Hobbit movie was more style than substance.) Hopefully you enjoy Star Wars! I hope you don't have to pay for that one either. ;)

Captain Phillips. If you haven't seen this, I highly recommend it.

"Captain Phillips is a multi-layered examination of the 2009 hijacking of the U.S. container ship Maersk Alabama by a crew of Somali pirates. Based on a true story, the film focuses on the Alabama’s commanding officer, Captain Richard Phillips (Tom Hanks), and the Somali pirate captain, Muse (Barkhad Abdi), who takes him hostage. The two men are set on an unstoppable collision course when Muse and his crew target Phillips’ unarmed ship; in the ensuing standoff, both men will find themselves at the mercy of forces beyond their control."

Didn't love it, didn't hate it. It was disappointing but fun.

Last Knights starring Clive Owen and Morgan Freeman. Typical Knight movie. Only it was Clive Owen. I have a huge crush for this guy. Nevermind the age gap. Lel.

Yes this right here for sure! You have such good taste lady Shiney. Amazing movie, even just for the cinema aspect of it, I liked Tom Hanks in this more than Castaway, though don't think he can ever surpass Forrest Gump. Anyways I saw the Captain Phillips movie on TV like two or so months ago. One of the best newish movies I've seen for a while. Still remember the real Captain Phillips story and when all that was going on, and have read No Easy Day, also an intriguing modern book, which contains a chapter about the Maersk Alabama incident from the point of view of one of the Navy SEALs. Glad to God that Captain Phillips was rescued and even that the pirate Abduwali Muse's life was spared, praise Jesus.
