well you sound like you make a great leader for your job, :)
Haha, thanks!

"Mellotron Scratch"

A tiny flame inside my hand
A compromise I never planned
Unravel out the finer strands

And I'm looking at a blank page now
Should I fill it up with words somehow?

I whispered something in her ear
I bare my soul but she don't hear

The scratching of a mellotron
It always seemed to make her cry
Well maybe she remembers us
Collecting space up in the sky

Nothing rises from my feet of clay, but it's OK
Red mist spreads across my fingertips, ardour slips

I lay her gently on my clothes
She will leave me yes I know

And I'm looking at a blank page now
Should I fill it up with words somehow?

The scratching of a mellotron
It always seemed to make her cry
Well maybe she remembers us
Collecting space up in the sky

Nothing rises from my feet of clay, but it's OK
Red mist spreads across my fingertips, ardour slips

Don't look at me with your mother's eyes or your killer smile
Sing a lullaby

Don't look back into black
Don't let the memory of sound drag you down
To end as friends so painful
Don't look down
Shut it down

Lyrics written by: Gore, Martin

Words like violence
Break the silence
Come crashing in
Into my little world
Painful to me
Pierce right through me
Can't you understand
Oh my little boy..

All I ever wanted
All I ever needed
Is here in my arms
Words are very unnecessary
They can only do harm

Vows are spoken
To be broken
Feelings are intense
Words are trivial
Pleasures remain
So does the pain
Words are meaningless
And forgettable

All I ever wanted
All I ever needed
Is here in my arms
Words are very unnecessary
They can only do harm

Enjoy The Silence...

This is my song forever, and death is not the end for me,
For the Lord is with me, and he controls my future,
its up to him to say when I shall live and die,
..to be absent from the body is to be present with the Lord.

I Pledge Allegiance To The Lamb

Lyrics by: Ray Boltz

I have heard how Christians long ago

Were brought before a tyrant's throne
And they were told that he would spare their lives
If they would renounce the name of Christ

But one by one they chose to die
The Son of God they would not deny
Like a great angelic choir sings
I can almost hear their voices ring

I pledge allegiance to the Lamb
With all my strength
With all I am
I will seek to honor His commands
I pledge allegiance to the Lamb

Now the years have come and the years have gone
But the cause of Jesus still goes on
And now our time has come to count the cost
To reject this world, to embrace the cross

And one by one let us live our lives
For the One who died to give us life
Till the trumpet sounds on the final day
Let us proudly stand and boldly say:

I pledge allegiance to the Lamb
With all my strength
With all I am
I will seek to honor His commands
I pledge allegiance to the Lamb

To the Lamb of God who bore my pain
Who took my place, who wore my shame
I will seek to honor His commands
I pledge allegiance to the Lamb

This worship song was running through my mind this morning, another favorite of mine.

Amazing Love

Lyrics by: Chris Tomlin
Amazing Love - News Boys - YouTube

I’m forgiven because You were forsaken,
I’m accepted, You were condemned.
I am alive and well, Your spirit is within me,
Because You died and rose again.
(Repeat x2)

(Chorus)
Amazing love,
How can it be
That You, my King, should die for me?
Amazing love,
I know it’s true.
It’s my joy to honor You,
In all I do, I honor You.

I’m forgiven because You were forsaken,
I’m accepted, You were condemned.
I am alive and well, Your spirit is within me,
Because You died and rose again.

(Repeat chorus x2)

You are my King
Jesus You are my King
(Repeat x4)

(Repeat chorus x2)

You are my King
(Repeat x8)

God, I recall swinging as a child, in the arms of the sun's rays.
It was warming and energy providing, yet it helped me relax.
The earth was still dusty below, but I forgot it for the time I swung high.
Sometimes, Lord, I imagined jumping over trees, buildings, an entire town, the moon!
I desired to let go and see where the flight would land me.
Other times, however, I would see how close I could drape my head's hair to the dirt beneath my journey just above.
I would tip my back toward the ground, and I would straighten my legs and let the weight of the moment
carry me one way and another.
Still, at other times, a friend (or friends) would join me. Bumper cars and dodge-the-swing were our favorites.
I guess we were crazy, but it was so invigorating to joust or to come close to calamity--and yet barely escape, victoriously.
There is something so powerful about the dust at camp, too.
Perhaps it is because camp is the site of my favorite ariel escapades.
Right after a wonderful service, I would find my way back to the launching pad.
I would then begin singing camp songs and other songs of praise, just for You to hear.
Soon thereafter, my howling led to soaring as well.
Each time that I zoomed by the dirt, it parted like the red sea.
It flew into the face of Satan;
only to resettle by the time gravity pulled me down again.
But, it did not matter;
I was full of anticipation
of how You and I would one day take down giants, defeat the devil, and reap the rewards together.
Thus, I was being lifted higher, even during initial descent.
My hope was unlimited, my reach was far.
And nothing, absolutely nothing could ground my spirit.

Therefore, God, I thank you for swing-sets.
And I ask of one thing from you (now)...
take me higher, in my worship of You.

In Jesus' name,

amen.

The antichrist, vampire
There is a deceiver coming, and already here,
don't buy into his lie,
don't be deceived by his flattering words,
There is no such thing as past lives,
and there is no reincarnation,
as it says:
And as it is appointed unto men once to die, but after this the judgment: - Hebrews 9:27
We die and we don't come back.
don't take his mark.
He sold his soul, he is already dead,
his emotions are only a reflection,
he feels nothing, because he is already dead
and will gain sympathy this way
by dying and being Resurrected
as if he was Jesus...
but his not!
Just say no, he has no soul

Not a poem, but any constructive criticism (I said CONSTRUCTIVE, PopClick!) on the blog I did recently for work is much appreciated. :)

And it's short, so don't feel inclined to take a deeper breath than usual: Techietalk: Windows 8.1

I love that shady advertisement at the top of the screen. It's a download button, with no explanation of what you're downloading. :p

Where do you see a "download" link? I've got an ad blocker on, so maybe it's hiding it.

Constructive Criticism - okay maybe it is a deep breath, sorry...just wanted you to see I pay attention too. If this is important for your job, I want to put as much in as I can, anything to help.

I think it is the layout of your point I have a concern with. It should explain the point you are getting at first and why, before you begin your thesis. Are you trying to tell me that the windows blue is better than 8? Are you selling something? Or are you simply ranting your opinion. Possibly both? I am getting mixed feelings of what you are trying to say in your blog.

Try not to insult the less tech savvy, although it may be tempting sometimes. People who know more often have that kind of 'head' about them. That's a no-no, if you ar doing it for the business. If you are doing this for business sake, you want to sell what you are talking about.

If not, then rant away. You can't be lukewarm about what you are talking about, trying to please every crowd you are trying to reach. Not all are equal.

It sounds a little patronizing to us windows vista users. I Loooovvvveee the start button, haha! What can I say...I guess I am a little behind the times. T_T

What I'm trying to say here is, try not to go on any rabbit trails, stay on point with what you
are talking about, a straight shooter. Try and remember that not everyone is going to be as tech savvy as you. That is why you are here,
to teach them how. To boldly guide us to where no computer addict has gone before.. ~

My opinion of the "Blue" is, It is very hard for me to switch styles, I'm not a very sporadic person, I like tradition I like repetition.
Change frightens me, I'd rather not have it at all. So with that being said...

What is really so great about blue, why should I buy it, how am I going to ease into this process of a new interface set before me?
How will this make my life better? I see the picture and I'm like...

I'm scared! O____O

None of the above, haha. :( It's strictly informative. Windows Blue/8.1 is a critical update to Windows 8; like a service pack. It's not a whole new operating system.

1. I did that? !!! Where? So I can proofread it in another context!
2. Not selling anything. :D Purely for information purposes, and since I'm not sales, I do it under a guise as to not represent the company (I make casual mentions of them in other blogs but do not claim affiliation).

If not, then rant away. You can't be lukewarm about what you are talking about, trying to please every crowd you are trying to reach. Not all are equal.

I don't think you understood the vernacular. Yikes! I hope I didn't epic fail on this thing... But I think I see how throwing in "less tech savvy" may have come across that way? So I updated it just now to say: "The new platform was met with gripes and downgrades." Is that better?

Going to need context on this one. Where did I deviate?

It won't! Lol. My opinion of Windows 8 aside, you will probably face an acute learning curve if you transition from any previous version of Windows. Windows Blue/8.1 is intended to alleviate that by bringing back a start button and the ability to go straight to your desktop when you start you PC, instead of going to the tiles screen. But nothing is official just yet. That's pretty much the basis of the article.

Thanks!

Well, maybe I threw too many pointless questions out there. I tend to overkill when I analyze something, sorry bout that..

I think I understand it a whole lot better after you explain it this way, I did not know a lot of what you are talking about before... T_T As I am not "tech savvy" as I throw that word out a lot, it is true.

After you said this, I started to see where it fit into place, it looks good from here. I didn't mean to insult your work either. Just trying to keep up with you younglings. :p

Lol hey no injury whatsoever. 5 years ago I may have gotten defensive, but I've learned to be less near sighted. Seriously, thanks! I actually made a couple of corrections based off of yours and PopClick's comments.
