me too, they are truly amazing, but I really like it when they are wearing their cuffs
without a shirt, your eyes are just automatically drawn to them...

I just know women wouldn't appreciate if men said and did that about them. They would think it's gender biased and sexist. Just stating my opinion.
Do you think those women consider cuffed pants on a man to be a girly look? Cuz that's the topic.

The whole idea of feminine vs masculine clothes is silly.
Just look at how much ancient robes look like today's dresses.

Wear whatever makes you feel comfortable.

I still regret not taking a picture of a guy I used to "fight" (stage swords).
He was wearing clothes of the period he normally reenacted (pants, armour coat, chain mail)
.... and was making some more clothes, so he was sowing.

If only he'd been a bit younger.... Perfect man :D :p

In the society we live in, though, we have people stiving to be like those. Men trying to be those "manly men". Women getting implants and changing their bodies thinking that's a "womanly woman". I just think something like that can be a sensitive issue, because that is such a problem with not just society, but in the church also. Folks that first join here do come with low self esteem, and seeing that can be triggers and make them feel even more bad about themselves. I'm saying all this because it has happened before.
I get where you're coming from & I agree with you. It's wrong to judge one another's worth by outward appearance. And you're right, the media constantly tells us we're not good enough naturally and we'd be more acceptable if we buy all their products. They make money by making people feel insecure.

But I believe this particular thread was regarding style preference and wasn't meant to diss people's worth. The reason I posted a photo of Denzel is because I get sick and tired of the media portraying older adults trying to look & act like young hipsters. At my age I prefer men to look like mature men, ya know? And again, that's just me. Another woman my age may prefer a man who looks like a hipster. And I can accept that.

So I'm in agreement with you, jsr1221. Thanks for explaining yourself. :)
