Some friends and I have been working from a local server for about half a year now. If you're friendly, looking to have fun and create a new civilization with us, feel free to inquire within this thread. :) I'll probably just send those interested a private message with IP to avoid the badness of the internet logging in and destroying everyone's hard work.

For those in the know, this is a vanilla survival beta Minecraft server. We hope to keep everything like that forever, so the structures people built are gained through actually finding the resources naturally, or trading with other players on the server. Again if you're interested, let me know.

Stumbled across this small abandoned house that seems to have been destroyed by a family of creepers :( These type of ruins can be found in the more dangerous parts of the world...

lol one suggestion: insert some Bible verses in the game, characters out of the Bible, stories from the Bible and you might get some interest.

Here's a large scale deep mining operation. This mine is being hollowed out and sectioned off for the purposes of harvesting lava (an important material used in special lighting as well as casting obsidian structures.) We've also discovered several veins of diamond, gold and lapis lazuli.

Ill try to recover it off the cloud. But it might not work... and crap the tree... I forgot about that Thanks for reminding me -_- . And I cant I dont have minecraft I was staying at my cousin over the summer holidays and I just played it all day when he was at work.

Some have asked about our starting area. Here is an overhead view of the protected area when you log in for the first time. None of the blocks inside the walls can be changed, this is to prevent unfortunate creeper accidents and new players joining. :)

This is the area around the server's spawn point. As you can see civilization is thriving here. There are tree farms, wheat farms, sugarcane farms, cactus farms. There are docks for easy access to lakes and oceans, tons of storage places and a trading post for newer players to get started. There are also many gardens, monuments and great structural achievements! :)

One of the player's pet projects on the server was to create what is called 'Future City' It's already several months in the making and coming along pretty well. This is a shot approaching the walls of Future City from the north east bridge.

Sometimes after a hard days worth of mining, it's good to come home to a warm and cozy place to rest. Here's a nice interior of one of the tea house & lodges we've built up.
