I'm so glad you cleared that up -- I had NO idea what she meant by "I conquer."
I'm with Willie. Anyone who has made it through, and then passed, Economics has conquered!

Incidentally, for anyone who thinks money is bad, I can happily
relieve you of your burden if you want. :)
I would. But it's funny-money. All American looking, so wouldn't burden you with such weird currency.

Matthew 6:24 (KJV)
No man can serve two masters: for either he will hate the one, and love the other; or else he will hold to the one, and despise the other. Ye cannot serve God and mammon.

The biblical frame of reference for wealth is that God is the source of all gain. I think money can be bad when it takes the place of God in your life as your provider.

Abraham and Job did have wealth but it all came from God. Even the silver and gold is from God. It wasn't man made.
Genesis 13:2King* (KJV)
And Abram was very rich in cattle, in silver, and in gold.

When we put our faith in money to provide us food, buy us health from Dr's, providing shelter and heat, we tend to think that's all we need and we* don't look to Elohim to give us rain for food or anointing for health..etc..

Just because people get anointed for healing, doesn't mean they WILL be healed. Been there, had that done. Didn't work..

As for money, in itself it isn't bad. It's the LOVE OF money that is bad.. It can be used for good or evil, such as donating to charities, or paying a hitman to take out your spouse..

** Being healed or not being healed is not my point, it's whether you put your faith in God or the most expensive physician your money can buy. Where is your heart?

I think money is great as long as you're not spending too much on yourself. It's really great when you get to help others.

It is the love of money that is bad. Also Christ tells us very detailed instructions regarding money and it is very different that how we have been taught about it prior to submitting to Christ. We at least how I understood the concept of money I really can't speak for others. God has deemed this money unrighteous and if we never learn how to turn it into righteous money, we will always follow a delusion that we will excel in investing unrighteous money unrightously.

Money is discussed a little more deeply than what I heard when I was younger. For instance, Christ tells the man who had great possessions to sell all that he had and give to the poor. So when I was growing up I thought that it was all Christ said concerning money. However, if you keep reading in Luke, Christ again discusses money but this time with His disciples who had already forsaken all to follow Christ. Money (like everything else we need to understand about life) needs to be truly understood from what Christ says about it more than self help books , news reports, college courses etc etc .
