God is a big tough guy, picking fights with ants.
I hear the sound of grinding of axes.

It could be worse. He could be somebody with an ax to grind, wasting his time away on a random internet forum, grinding away.

right before they self destruct along with society/the economy.

Luke 12:1-5
1 And when great multitudes stood about him, so that they trod one upon another, he began to say to his disciples: Beware ye of the leaven of the Pharisees, which is hypocrisy. 2 For there is nothing covered, that shall not be revealed: nor hidden, that shall not be known. 3 For whatsoever things you have spoken in darkness, shall be published in the light: and that which you have spoken in the ear in the chambers, shall be preached on the housetops. 4 And I say to you, my friends: Be not afraid of them who kill the body, and after that have no more that they can do. 5 But I will shew you whom you shall fear: fear ye him, who after he hath killed, hath power to cast into hell. Yea, I say to you, fear him.

Soon, most of those who hate God won't even try to hide it anymore.

I believe, as these times get worse and people become much angrier, an alarming number of posters on Christian Chat will also become much angrier and then quietly leave Christian Chat or announce they are taking a break from Christian Chat. What do you think?
I think you should look to your own soul and stop presuming on others according to your way of thinking.

Sorry to disappoint those in bliss of god's good graces, but there is no pleasing god. God is uncompromising, unflinching and worst of all, unchanging. Anyone who truly knows god, knows this. We are here for his entertainment purposes, what role you have is in your life plan. Has anyone every looked back and figured out what their life plan was?
God was pleased with both the world He had created and humanity as well, prior to the Fall...so therefore, we know it is possible for humans to make him happy. We can't do anything to make him love us any more than He already does, or less...but that's an entirely different discussion. Several other Scriptures relate to this, and here's a few examples.

"For this reason, since the day we heard about you, we have not stopped praying for you. We continually ask God to fill you with the knowledge of his will through all the wisdom and understanding that the Spirit gives, so that you may live a life worthy of the Lord and please Him in every way: bearing fruit in every good work, growing in the knowledge of God " (Colossians 1: 9-10)

"For the appeal we make does not spring from error or impure motives, nor are we trying to trick you. On the contrary, we speak as those approved by God to be entrusted with the gospel. We are not trying to please people but God, who tests our hearts." (1 Thessalonians 2:3-4)

"Therefore, I urge you, brothers and sisters, in view of God’s mercy, to offer your bodies as a living sacrifice, holy and pleasing to God—this is your true and proper worship." (Romans 12:1)

"For the kingdom of God is not a matter of eating and drinking, but of righteousness, peace and joy in the Holy Spirit, because anyone who serves Christ in this way is pleasing to God and receives human approval." (Romans 14:17-18)

Listen, I studied this guy called god. If you read the bible, you know he has done some bad things, he capable of doing bad things. I'm sure his fingers were on everything bad that has happened. I think it would probably be best if I do what I think is best for me rather than worry about if it pleases god.

What do you think Jesus meant when he said that unless a kernel of wheat falls to the ground and dies it remains a single seed, but if it falls to the ground and dies it produces many seeds?

Those seeds were wiped out by a big flood, done at god's hands.

I think you spent most of your time in the Old Testament. Us new covenant Christians start in the New Testament in the book of John and read to the end of revelation. The point of Christianity is following the teachings of Jesus/God himself. Yes, the Old Testament is still valuable but reading about Jesus’ life, his spoken words and actually learning what we believe in the books after that, is a real game changer. imagine accepting Jesus as lord and savior and then learning how to have the mind of God, where your spirit flows out of you from your words, causing everything around you to be comforted, healed and alive. Wouldn’t you want that?

I take comfort in educating myself, and staying vibrant. I treat people how I want to be treated. I never really felt like god or jesus had my back, everything was always a struggle. I went through catholic education, dedicated a lot of time to learning about God and Jesus. Looking back at those days, it didn't seem to make a difference because, like I said life seemed to be a struggle.

I learned that the only way to break free of the abysmal track that god had me on was to expand my mind, educate myself understand that it wasn't me who was keeping myself down.

if you read my testimonial, you’ll discover how there has been constant struggle, trauma and abuse from practically the day I was born, until now. I’ve experienced it all and committed just about every sin you can think of but there are moments in my life that God really came through that I can pin point. The last two years have been the hardest ever but I seek God even more during these times because he loved me first, I never want to lose what I have with him. It’s just way to valuable than I can describe. Imagine having an actual relationship with God himself, where people write or say things as it was God’s divine timing. It is very special and I pray one day, you’ll be able to experience the same.

No. They sprang to life out of their death. And in dying, not only did they find new life, but their life was multiplied.
You don't understand God or His ways. That's why you assume the worst. It would be worth your while to find out who He actually is and how He actually operates.

Please tell me how god came through?
the year I accepted Jesus as my lord and savior, after a decade of sex, drugs alcohol, basically homeless and carless, that same month I stopped drinking, having sex and doing drugs cold turkey, just by believing in Jesus. A few months after that my great grandmother past away and I was able to buy my first car and after years of rent rooms from craigslist renters and being homeless, my family inherited her house and I’ve living in a stable home for the past ten years.

Before I accepted Christ, I was diagnosed with schizophrenia. After accepting Christ, I was rediagnosed with schizoaffective. When I started reading the Bible, I was rediagnosed as bipolar, which is wayyy better than schizophrenia-anything.

After being fat for years, I cried one night about it and I prayed to God. That same year, I lost 70 pounds just by diet, no exercise, while also being on heavy doses of medication that causes weight gain. While everyone was gaining weight during the pandemic, I was losing weight.

After a decade of having a poor relationship with my family, both my mom’s side and my dad’s side, even my parents, grandparents and siblings noticed a difference and we became closer as family. Instead of just caring about my self and my life, I started thinking about how my actions can affect their lives as well. So I became a better grandson, a better son and a better brother.

After a decade of praying for a woman who i share similar beliefs and values with. God showed me that she exists, just a month or so now. She is supportive, loving, kind and respectful. I’ve nearly screwed up the friendship like 5 times already but we still seek each other out and we are very much attracted to one another.

So that is just a few instances.

Another one is I just started composing music a year ago. I created 55 songs in the past year and now my music is playing on radio station world wide, even in khazakstan of all places. So if that isn’t God on my side, I don’t know what to tell you.
