People have their own taste in preachers which is fine. I personally prefer the old fashioned holy ghost filled preachers. Not the carebear ones of todays time.
LOL The first preacher I sat under was one of those hellfire preachers. I fear he was intoxicated by the exuberance of his own verbosity. LOL He did have a powerful voice. And a plastic personality. I enjoyed the 'show' though I quickly tired of it.

Actually I like what some of them preach, I hate the hate people like you spew on them and other people too. Too many Christians are hfor Jezabel, and Narcissist spirits who lash out to hurt anyone they can. Deal with that one! and notice....I did not name you.
Boy did I say that wrong! I meant to say "I hate it WHEN people like you spew hatred...."

Of course you did not mane me.
But-- to dislike a person, to question the truth of what they preach, and to question the way they become wealthy is not hate.
And while you accuse others of hate, you judge them as being host for Jezebel and narcissist spirits.
Why are YOU such a sensitive person? Sensitive as being paranoid. Nobody is accusing you of harboring any spirit but hate for rich preachers. The hate pours out your mouth. It comes from the heart

I will pray that God forgives you for judging others hearts.
Your words come from the'riches' of your heart. It takes no skill at all to know what is in your heart when you broadcast it to the world. But...What's in your heart is not my problem so I don't judge. And telling you what you are spewing all over the place is not judging anyway. So Please STOP praying for me! I don't need your prayers and I don't want them. I don't know you enough to accept the help. When people pray for you its vital that you consider the source.

1Jn 3:17 But whoso hath this world's good, and seeth his brother have need, and shutteth up his bowels of compassion from him, how dwelleth the love of God in him?
1Jn 3:18 My little children, let us not love in word, neither in tongue; but in deed and in truth.

Jas 2:14 What doth it profit, my brethren, though a man say he hath faith, and have not works? can faith save him?
Jas 2:15 If a brother or sister be naked, and destitute of daily food,
Jas 2:16 And one of you say unto them, Depart in peace, be ye warmed and filled; notwithstanding ye give them not those things which are needful to the body; what doth it profit?
Jas 2:17 Even so faith, if it hath not works, is dead, being alone.
Jas 2:24 Ye see then how that by works a man is justified, and not by faith only.

1Ti 6:3 If any man teach otherwise, and consent not to wholesome words, even the words of our Lord Jesus Christ, and to the doctrine which is according to godliness;
1Ti 6:4 He is proud, knowing nothing, but doting about questions and strifes of words, whereof cometh envy, strife, railings, evil surmisings,
1Ti 6:5 Perverse disputings of men of corrupt minds, and destitute of the truth, supposing that gain is godliness(money, material): from such withdraw thyself.
1Ti 6:6 But godliness with contentment is great gain.
1Ti 6:7 For we brought nothing into this world, and it is certain we can carry nothing out.
1Ti 6:8 And having food and raiment let us be therewith content.

2Co 6:10 As sorrowful, yet alway rejoicing; as poor, yet making many rich; as having nothing, and yet possessing all things.

1Ti 6:17 Charge them that are rich in this world, that they be not highminded, nor trust in uncertain riches, but in the living God, who giveth us richly all things to enjoy;
1Ti 6:18 That they do good, that they be rich in good works, ready to distribute, willing to communicate.

Act 2:44 And all that believed were together, and had all things common;
Act 2:45 And sold their possessions and goods, and parted them to all men, as every man had need.

Act 4:34 Neither was there any among them that lacked: for as many as were possessors of lands or houses sold them, and brought the prices of the things that were sold,
Act 4:35 And laid them down at the apostles' feet: and distribution was made unto every man according as he had need.

Mat 19:21 Jesus said unto him, If thou wilt be perfect, go and sell that thou hast, and give to the poor, and thou shalt have treasure in heaven: and come and follow me.

Jas 4:3 Ye ask, and receive not, because ye ask amiss, that ye may consume it upon your lusts.

God loves people, not blessing the saints with money, and material things.

God only blesses us with our needs, not our wants, and lusts, according to the flesh.

Again, you only get your needs, food, and clothing, for God loves people, not blessing the saints with money, and material things, above their needs.

Repeat, you only get your needs, food, and clothing, for God loves people, not blessing the saints with money, and material things, above their needs.

Rev 3:15 I know thy works, that thou art neither cold nor hot: I would thou wert cold or hot.
Rev 3:16 So then because thou art lukewarm, and neither cold nor hot, I will spue thee out of my mouth.
Rev 3:17 Because thou sayest, I am rich, and increased with goods, and have need of nothing; and knowest not that thou art wretched, and miserable, and poor, and blind, and naked:
Rev 3:18 I counsel thee to buy of me gold tried in the fire, that thou mayest be rich; and white raiment, that thou mayest be clothed, and that the shame of thy nakedness do not appear; and anoint thine eyes with eyesalve, that thou mayest see.
Rev 3:19 As many as I love, I rebuke and chasten: be zealous therefore, and repent.

God only blesses us with our needs, not our wants, for He loves people.

You know God blessed job immensely and being blessed with riches is not bad thing. Sometimes God gives in abundance so that we can also give in abundance but blessed is the man who gives when he has not the money for food. Honestly bashing and complaining about rich preachers is not something we should spend our time on, after all things are not always as they appear sometimes a preacher is rich because God made him so

And God made Abraham stinkin rich too. Who else? Ummmm Solomon!
[h=2]Isaac[/h] Then Isaac sowed in that land, and received in the same year an hundredfold: and the LORD blessed him.

[h=2]Jacob[/h] And Esau took his wives, and his sons, and his daughters, and all the persons of his house, and his cattle, and all his beasts, and all his substance, which he had got in the land of Canaan; and went into the country from the face of his brother Jacob. For their riches were more than that they might dwell together; and the land wherein they were strangers could not bear them because of their cattle.
[h=2]David[/h] And he died in a good old age, full of days, riches, and honour:

[h=2]Jehoshaphat[/h] Therefore the LORD established the kingdom in his hand; and all Judah brought to Jehoshaphat presents; and he had riches and honour in abundance

[h=2]Hezekiah[/h] Notwithstanding Hezekiah humbled himself for the pride of his heart, both he and the inhabitants of Jerusalem, so that the wrath of the LORD came not upon them in the days of Hezekiah. And Hezekiah had exceeding much riches and honour: and he made himself treasuries for silver, and for gold, and for precious stones, and for spices, and for shields, and for all manner of pleasant jewels; Storehouses also for the increase of corn, and wine, and oil; and stalls for all manner of beasts, and cotes for flocks.
[h=2]Joseph of Arimathaea, a disciple of Jesus[/h] When the even was come, there came a rich man of Arimathaea, named Joseph, who also himself was Jesus' disciple:

Who else? Come on.....

It's not my turn.. I'm not crying about people not doing enough.. if this is what you do then should you be ripping others apart? Do everything unto the Lord.. if He's your reasoning then quit the thread
Where to start---
I drive a 1978 truck that I bought in 1990.
My wife drives a 1980 SUV that we bought in 1999.
We raise our own food.
We buy sugar, coffee, flower, salt, and cooking oil at WalMart. Not much else.
We buy most of our cloths at the thrift store.
We have never taken a vacation in 37 years of marriage.
We live in a house that we built ourselves, paying as we go.
We have no electricity, no cable TV.
I do have satellite internet.
I serve as pastor of a church and receive no pay. I count it a blessing.
I made $81,000 last year.
I paid $24,000 in taxes, $14,000 for Health Ins. and gave $20,000 to my church.

Now it's your turn.

Eli and his sons were crooks, did Samuel stay faithful or rebel against leadership? He knew better than to speak against the office they held

Hillsong total net worth is said to be around between $120-$300 Million a year.....that is their Australian tax exempt valuation...

I view Hillsong as just a world wide media corp that does something called "church" every now and then....

When tax exemptions status start going away in the world, watch how quick some of these ministries will be revealed as emperors without clothes...
