I have been following Christ now for about 9 years. I was saved from a life of misery, confusion, and pain. These last 9 years of my life I have seen God do many, many wonderful things in my life. The road has not been an easy one, for many are the afflictions of the righteous, yet the Lord shall deliver them from them all. The Word does not say that He would deliver us only from some of our afflictions, but from ALL of them! Jesus also said he would send the comforter, which is the Holy Spirit, to help us. I have found this to be true. Jesus is a friend that will stick by you no matter what. His love for His people is great and he will never leave nor forsake the righteous. We may stumble, we may fail, but God will never fail us. He is longsuffering, compassionate, and full of mercy. My hope is in the Lord!
