My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic is a recently made cartoon series created by Lauren Faust that has attained quite a large following on the internet. Faust, who had previously worked on shows like The Powerpuff Girls and Foster's Home for Imaginary Friends, rebooted the series with the intention of creating a version of My Little Pony that people, children and adults alike, could actually stand to watch.
Since its release, the show has spread all over the internet. The fans, who call themselves bronies, are mostly 18-30 year old guys, though there are quite a few girls in the mix as well. The main credo of the fanbase is love and tolerance, especially when dealing with trolls.
