I agree that politics should not be preached from the pulpit.
The WORST offenders I see, unfortunately (because it will get me labeled as racist) are the "black" churches. If you pay attention, many of the liberal candidates manage to get before the congregation and espouse their "doctrine". It happens ALL the time. I imagine it will be the same, if not worse during this election season.
The reason I started noticing this, was during the last pres election season, many churches were told that if they were caught giving political speeches in church, they would lose their tax exempt status. It didn't, however, seem to stop any of the black churches that had left-leaning politicians speaking to the congregation, shown on television.
The assembly should be only for worshipping our Lord God.... politics can be discussed in the parking lot.
