The aftershock of being freed from a narcissist- this is going on all over the world, has been since the fall in Genesis, and will soon be ended

Shoot, everybody I know is a covert narcissist...

And she is a major covert narcissist, by her own signs. She has really doubled down on it.

And...
Humility is not self-contempt, but the truth about ourselves coupled with a reverence for others.

Pride before the fall.
Proverbs 16:18
So few are self reflective freely admitting errors within themselves to others that they hide behind a mask...

You would think that as Christians admitting fault and errors would be A daily SOP...

But just tiptoe into a theological discussion and see if it happens there at all...

thats a lot of videos does it say much about if the narcissist is a parent or mother?
I mean you can always choose a partner and whether or not to stay or leave but with family who youve got for life its not easy separating from them unless you or they die.

You can practice detachment though, much like dealing with an alcoholic. While the drunkards supply is alcohol, the narcissist supply is power or energy me thinks. Some people call them energy vampires...you just feel drained when around them.

If we are truly Christian we don't choose to stay or leave at our own decision, we are in relationship with the Father and we seek His guidance in ALL things.
That is what it means to "lean not on your own understanding".
People who miss the mark lean on their own understanding.
best wishes

oh ok
of course
people judge from the outside and say why not just leave or move out...so easy for them to just say that. They dont know everything involved. like say its an abusive partner but you also have children together How will you keep them safe too?
or its a job with a horrible boss or workmate that if you quit, how else will you pay the bills?
But people dont know you situation like God does.
