Hi. I need some help. I did not know which thread to post this. My xw used to carry a hex bag in her purse when we first met. She kept it hidden. I saw it one day and asked what it was. She said it was to ward off her ex-boyfriend. I know what they look like. I did not like it at all.

Yes, I married her anyway. I have made plenty of poor decisions in my life. We are now divorced for well over a year.

I was just outside cutting grass and found one in a clematis I have. It was tied into the small wire trellis I have there. I removed it and tossed it on the ground. I don't know if there is anything special I need to do. I know I probably should not have touched it. I was a bit angry and took it down. What should I do about it and for myself?

I can't stay on here. I will check back later and take a look at your suggestions. Thank you, in advance, for you advice.

"Behold, I give unto you power to tread on serpents and scorpions, and over all the power of the enemy: and nothing shall by any means hurt you."

Just ask Jesus to protect you, don't sweat it.

You're from PA, right, so are we talking PA Dutch powwow? A lot depends on where you are with the Lord. I would just take the hex off and throw it away. Is there any reason to be concerned that they might resort to actual criminal attack?

I sent you some instructions via a private message. Feel free to send my any questions you may have. I am very familiar with cursed objects.

My dad took his first "Call" as a Lutheran pastor as he had just graduated from seminary. It was in a small town in the midwest. One day he had a strange meeting with a man who asked over lunch to do as this man wanted him to do. This man wanted my dad to take instructions from him. My father refused and for years my dad had wondered what it was all about.

During this time My mom gave birth to four kids in five years. It was a strain on her to be sure. The marriage started to fall apart and so did my mothers mental health. Back then they called it a nervous breakdown. One day a mysterious gift arrived on our front porch. It was a beautiful antique mirror to be hung on a wall. A note was on the mirror and as best I can recall my mom said it read " Look into this mirror to see how beautiful you are" or something like it.

My mother was touched by such a nice gift and thoughtful note. She hung it in her room. Later it was hung in my room which I shared with my brother. One day when I was about 8 years old and getting dressed I heard my name yelled at me in a stern angry voice, "DANIEL!" That freaked me out. I told my mom about it and she if it happenes again answer it as she assumed it might be God. That never happened again.

However, about four years later one night, I tossed and turned in my bed not able to sleep. The mirror hung on the opposite wall from my bunk bed. I turned over and saw a bright glowing red-orange (the color of red hot metal) face looking at me from with in the mirror. My room had no light source from the inside out outside. The face seemed to be lurking at me from behind something I could not see. I froze with fear. I turned to face the other wall and covered myself with my blanket. In the morning I took the mirror down and laid it glass side down. I never again slept in that room with that mirror hanging where I could see it.

Two years ago God showed me what the mirror was about and more. God showed me I was cursed 24 times (3 times 8). He even showed me who did it. The had a pentagram in a circle on the floor with a candle at each point. They practiced something like satanism mixed with Egyptian stuff. They seemed to be worshiping Anubis the Egyptian god of the dead. The mirror was cursed with spiritual death, meaning it was to remove a person from his/her beliefs in God. God showed me the curses in the form of a tatoo on my body. As me a my ministry partner prayed over each one, they would disappear.

Last year I also had a man curse me and my ministry partner with West African voodoo. Three cursed objects showed up. One was a dead crow that appeared one day in my back yard. It's head was missing. Also two small leaves were placed in a small apartment I had rented as a home away from as I was working far away from home. One leaf was on the floor in front of the kitchen sink and the other in a hallway in front of my bathroom.

As I came home from work I saw them and wondered how they got there. They were not there when I left and I assumed the land lord tracked them in. I sat in front of my TV to watch the news and suddenly I felt chest pains. The chest pains did not last for more than 10 or 20 seconds and I ignored them. Then it happened a second time. Then my ministry partner sent me a text and I replied. Then my partner said as I she read my text she instantly had chest pains. I removed the two leaves in the manner I sent to you and the chest never came back. I believe the Lord was warning me.

So I am glad you are concerned about this bag and hope it all goes well.

Good point. It probably is a native american medicine bag. The contents might might show a person what it was intended for.

Not that there is any power in such trinkets... but God already did a great deal just by showing the trinket bag to you and making its presence known.

It is said that Vaudoo only has power over those that believe it has any power. Greater is He that is in you than he that is in the world.

You might want to check out powwow. It is not native American, but a form of pidgin German based Christian witchcraft. i only know about it because I lived among them for a while.

It is not a lack of belief in a curse that will spare us from it's intent. It is faith in God which is our protection. Those who trust under His wing dwell in safety.

Not PA Dutch country, but southwestern PA. I believe the person who did this will not resort to physical attack. Who can be sure though? I know the area of the clematis surrounding the bag for a good 12 inches in diameter or more is dead. The bag smells sickly sweet and it of course is muslin with a thin string at the top. It reminds me of the bags the yellow bubble gum used to come in at the candy store. Don't know if everyone knows about those. It was back in the early seventies that I remember that stuff.

I will do as you outlined. I have to go to work for a little while. I have to leave shortly. I'll report back later as to what is going on and what I got accomplished. It will not be until after 9pm that I start this. However, I do believe it is important to do this ASAP.

There is an occult shop in Pittsburgh that sells some items for this type of stuff. I remember my ex talking about it a little. Her sister was into it and still claims to be a "white witch". Yeah, right. There are only two sides you can be on. :)

That's right. I believe and I know He will help me. He has already with the replies from all of you. I know He is on my side. I just have to do the work and show Him my faith is strong in His power. It will be done and His will shall be done. Nothing is stronger than God. I know He loves me and He will protect me in Jesus Name. Amen.

Thank you everyone. I'll stop back later tonight. It might be late. God Bless you all in Jesus Name. Amen. See ya later.

The clemantis probably died from one of the ingredients being poison to it. The methods danschance and I spoke of work anyway; the powwow is more of a curiosity for some of us, like me and Danschance, as it is relatively unknown outside PA Dutch country.

The Lord is powerful so you are protected, but you must believe that with your whole heart and soul. There is a connection between our material world and God's world of the spirit, and if you perform this ritual I tell you about, it will help your subconscious mind accept the truth of God's protection.

Pick some favorite scripture, like the 23rd psalm or part of the Sermon on the Mount, etc. Sit and let your mind be filled with the words of the Lord. Now go wash, either your hands and face or a complete shower. Let this wash by symbolic of the cleansing of Christ. Repent of any sin you can think of, be sure to let all judgments of people go, let God take care of any punishment of people. Forget what they have done to you, and send love to the people they are beyond the sin they have done. That doesn't mean you are not to stay away from them, just not let them make what they have done to you impede your walk with your Lord.

Now you are completely clean, inside and out, go sit in the chair. Make a picture in your mind of the protection of God's word, think of it as an armor that is around you.
Eph_6:11 Put on the whole armor of God, so that you may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil.

I so remember the bag of gum in a sack! Now I want some! If I recall right it was called a "Bag of Gold".

With the earth dying around this bag, you know demons are at work and you will need to pray for the land--assuming you are a Christian. If you are not a Christian--any Christian can pray those prays I sent to you. There is a chance the bag can come back too. I know it sounds weird, but this happens fairly frequently to cursed objects. If it does, let me know.

White witchcraft and black witchcraft use the exact same power source to accomplish different goals. White witches never want to be associated with black witchcraft but they will admit that they can do it also. Seems silly how they try so hard to differentiate themselves from black witchcraft.

I thought it was some kind of Gold. I think you are correct. :)

I will let you know if it comes back. I did as you prescribed. I could not go threw all of my stuff here and throw away everything that was once hers. I have a microwave stand that is in use and need to replace it before I do that. I was brought up in the Roman Catholic church. I fell away from it after learning some things about it during a time when I was in need of help. I wanted to learn more about the Bible and as you all know, the Catholic church teaches what they want you to know. The don't believe we can understand it properly. I have received all the sacraments except Extreme Unction.

I have also attended a church not too far away which I did enjoy. It is a Cornerstone church. I don't know what church to attend on a regular basis. I found myself enjoying what I was taught at Cornerstone. I missed the sacraments. I have not been able to receive the sacraments since I need an annulment through the church for that. I know many here will understand that. I love the Lord and always have. I say my prayers and read my bible as often as I can. That's it. I believe I am a Christian. :)

Yes, I know. That's why I made the comment about there are only two ways to go. "White witchcraft" is still an offshoot of black magic. Their power comes from the same source. It is silly. What I was told is that white witches do not perform the "evil" parts of their rituals. The are more into worshiping the natural world. Well, la di da. LOL "They ain't worshipin' God." If they aren't worshiping God and following Jesus Christ, they are on the wrong path. What they are worshiping is the other one. In a sense, I feel sorry for them.

I did as you instructed and before I started to bless everything, I read some Psalms. I read 70? and 90? I then blessed myself with the oil and started outside for the bag. I poured oil on the bag as I prayed as instructed. I placed the hex bag in another small shopping bag with a small shovel. I then tied the bag and threw it in the trash can. I then went around to every door and window and anointed them and prayed in each room. I believe that will do the job. I have faith that the Lord needs to test me. I know He will not let me down.

RedTent,

Thank you. I will do that as well before I go to bed tonight.

You don't need to toss out all of her belongs. Just the stuff that she of used if she was doing anything in the occult. So things like dream catchers, robes, ceremonial knife, chalice, book of shadows, tarot cards, Ouija board, astrology, jewelry with a circle around a five pointed star, dream catchers, native american or pagan artifacts or art, basically anything tied to a religion other than Christianity. Ordinary household stuff is fine to keep or send back to her if she wants it.She may of simply got it from a witch and then her belongings should be fine to keep.

Getting rid of the hex bag is very important. Holding on to objects like that are what I call "Hedge breakers". If we are in God's will He will keep a hedge around us but if we harbor things He has forbidden, that can break the hedge.
