Everything that follows is done freely without expectation of return. Though I am interested in the response that I think I might get from you.
You're talking about making something big out of something small.
You are not trying to injure me. If you are not trying to injure me, you are trying to help me.
If you are trying to help me, then what do you hope will happen to me as a result of your help?
Maybe you think I will stop doing something that irritates other people.
We cannot avoid irritating everyone at all times.
I look out for my own interests, and the interests of people at the message board.
Personal satisfaction with one's actions is a good way to measure the personal utility of an action.
That is why message boards are around. People have a need to express themselves publicly, and a message board allows you to meet that need.
It goes without saying that a person's post should aim to address someone who would stand to benefit from it, and there should also be a good chance that those people will read the message in the first place.
My entire time at CC, I have never failed to be satisfied as a result of posting here.
I always post as long as it has the chance of benefitting a person I think is likely to be at the message board.
So how can you help me when I can already help myself according to what I need?
