The best 100-mile ride is between Lewiston, Idaho, and Missoula, Montana, on US Highway 12. (Hills, trees, streams, winding road.)

The parts of the Oregon (USA) coast I’ve visited are remarkably peaceful. It is cool, cloudy, and windy, with many sand dunes. There aren’t a lot of people there, and the wind drowns out what anyone is saying nearby.

Except that it is a two-day drive from here. It's only about an hour and a half from my brother's house, though, and I'll visit him this October.

they wouldn't (unless it got them some millions, and I doubt that, cause we have more than enough malls as it is), but I'd get them on my side

I must say, Astrid, that I am a little disappointed that you would work with the mafia.

Anyone in Norway would support me. They are already in an uproar because the government is planning to build powers masts in Hardanger ( a very beautiful stretch of nature)

Is it that important? People need power, and power can be very expensive. Finding ways to cut power costs can be very helpful, and perhaps building those masts will cut costs significantly.

yeah, that is the argument of those who want them :)

I can't see why they should not build them, they have been built several other places.... they want the government to put the cables in the sea, but that will cost so much that it will raise the power prices in the whole country -,- and they are high enough as it is

We have ravens that live around the building I work at and eat the windshield wipers off our cars. There’s nothing we can do about it until they leave because federal law says we can’t bother ravens. (They must be an endangered species.)
