Hi, I know this is an old thread, but I want to say it's so important for a Christian to go to church and to serve. It really helps you develop in your walk with God.

My heart aches for the Christians that think they don't need to go to church. It's sad because they are missing out. If you don't like one preacher, then keep looking.

I believe there's also a verse in the bible that talks about never quit meeting with one another (believers).

I go almost every sunday to a wesleyan church here,its a bit of a drive but when work.does not keep me from going i do go..having come out of a more charismatic/pentecostal background where i was not accepted vecause back then i was a long haired vegan.kid, now i only wish i would have found this church sooner..i am a bit shy as well but i cannot keep that from at least making the effort..i sought to find an arminian church that was conservative, and now i found one...

I hear you brother OFM..there is a movement it seems to get people to not go to chuyrch,i even have seen an online blog/ministry that claims to be christian that makes shirts that say, don't go to chirch..yes i have been dosappoinyted.i have had to grit my teeth,and keep looking for a place..i finally found a,place..el sembrador Wesleyano/the sower Wesleyan..i love my pastor,his wife,and the peoplevthere..i pray thatvi am.able to.be a part of the wesleyan church for a long time..i encourage anyone who has given up..do not,keep trying..nobody is an island..we need each other..even if you forgo institutional church..find a way to fellowship,house chirch..small group..etc.
