One person says they are born of the Spirit of God, and another person also says they also have the Spirit of God in them.

The first person curses the second person, and mocks him, and ridicules him, and defends sin. The 2nd person blesses the first, and forgives him, and apologizes to him. And speaks against sin.

Judging from this alone, which has the Spirit of God in them?

I would rather not judge at all, as I might speak evil of the Spirit, not knowing the hearts.

Here is the confusion. The 2nd person might just be doing all the things Jesus says, but might be doing them with an evil heart, just to shame the person in their actions.

But the first person may just be acting out because they have recently been rebuked, though later they might repent.

So I cannot judge the situation.

I would say that God knows who are his own. As his own are chosen by him.

It reminds me of the way Solomon had to decide which lady was really the owner of the baby.

I saw a movie once about Solomon. And it made me judge myself. In the movie, the woman who really owned the baby spoke violently with Solomon. And the other lady who didn't own the baby was all nice like, and crying.

The woman who really owned the baby did not show respect to the king, yet she really did own the baby. And the emotional woman who spoke gently and cried was a liar.

I was convicted, because I was certain the lady who spoke aggressively with the king was the liar, and that the woman who cried was the one who owned the baby.

And then Solomon lifted up his sword to cut the baby in half, and the aggressive woman defended the baby, while the other waited to get her half.

And now I remember that we can not look with respect of persons.

What a twist.

May Jesus bless you.

Wow, that is such an interesting way to think about life, and how little we actually know. Just goes to show that we can't judge a book by it's cover until we open it up and read it all the way through. Then we don't have to judge, for we will know. Unfortunately, we won't be able to get to know everyone who crosses our path. I know it can be a real challenge to not judge a person just by his/her appearance, or his/her present behavior. We don't have the eyes of God, all we are able to see is the shell, not the contents. Thanks for sharing!

Yes Amen. And Jesus is far more wise when you really look at how he actually handles those people who were so quick to judge. It made me smile some times when he spoke the way he did. But sometimes I was rebuked too!!

I have fallen in this area of judgement. God is just and a fair judge because he knows everything.

Judges of this world even can't judge with perfect judgement. And a lot of them have begun to judge with prejudice, which is not fair judgement.

But God knows everything. I know nothing.

There is a perfect way my friend. JUDGE NOT LEST YE BE JUDGED, BECAUSE BY EVERY MEASURING STICK YOU USE TO MEASURE OTHERS, THE SAME STICK WILL BE USED TO MEASURE YOU!!

I can indeed warn of his judgement, but I need to heed the warning also, lest I be judged by it. I run to Jesus, who is the light so that my deeds are manifest that they are done in him. But if iniquity is in my heart, SIN LIES AT THE DOOR!!

There is a good way again. Instead of being hesitant to judge we should question, ''WHY?'' Why is the person behaving this way. Maybe they had a bad day. Maybe someone died in their family.

Instead of taking time to explore these things, some people just go off and say, ''oh she has a devil.'' Too rash. Though sometimes it may be, but quick judgments done by men are mostly wrong judgments.

God is patient and kind. He always thinks the best of others. Well, I could say it all, but in short, GOD IS LOVE!!!

May Jesus bless you.
