Cows stink a lot in big groups. I suppose if you're used to it... I'm sure I'm used to the stench of the city.

the cows don't, but the likelyness of much being around is of course greater :p

Not sure how big groups you are talking about though, I like the smell of barns/ stables

Uhhh I'm talking about a field full of thousands of cows because they are going to a slaughterhouse nearby its a penetrating smell. You're right though its what comes out that stinks not the animal.

Barns and stables I'm not sure how they smell. :eek:

I used to take a six-day drive back east to visit my mother every year. In Nebraska, when you switched freeways, there was suddenly this awful smell as you passed this huge cattle-holdding area.

I prefer sheep goats over cows :D In my experience sheep are very attention seeking and love being scratched

I think that I like to eat these animals more than tend to them but if ever I had to take responsibility in their tending I would do it as it would be needed.

For now, where I am eenting we're not allowed to have pets but I want a dog.

yes a horse, they are nice for transpration, and if you feel sore in the back or neck, they are great for fixing that.
