I would have to check but I believe it all started with a woman named Karen who called the police over a situation with her dog in a park and someone who was black. They had some sort of run in. I believe that's where it all started.

The woman's name was Amy Cooper, though... So perhaps in lieu of Karen, we should be using the name "Amy" or "Cooper"? Except the black guy's name was also Cooper, so probably to invoke the name of "Cooper" wouldn't differentiate between perpetrator and victim.
