I read trumps art of the deal and obamas songs from my father. and also michelles becoming. and her book about gardening the white house.
Trumps art of the deal was actually written by a ghostwriter but he says its his so, well you have to compare what he says with what he does. It was written before he became president as obamas memoir was.

Trump never mentioned any faith in his memoir, it was all about how he was making deals, that he got a kick out of making. when I read it I thought ok, he makes being a con artist sound good. But again, he never mentioned faith, or maybe it was just faith in taking risks and bulldozing his way into power. I dont know. You make up your own mind. I dont think he cares how he looks to others as to him any publicity is good publicity. I think america elects ordinary people to do extraodrinary things but you could elect someone else and let them have a go or gasp...a woman but anyone who doesnt look like themsleves probably doesnt really like whoever is elected.

you are always gonna get that so...just deal with it. I think being on tv might help you (trump was already on the apprentice) because americans are in love with their tv. I expect Martha Stewart to be next.
I imagine people project a certain narrative in their books. I've never read any of the books you mentioned. What about the books by the Obama's... Did they mention their faith in those?

I do know that Art of the Deal has a strong emphasis on entrepreneurship so I can understand why he would not mention his faith. Faith and successful deal-making/entrepreneurship aren't closely related and to suggest they are is usually frowned heavily upon by the Christian community. To avoid the perception that successful businesses require faith is the false doctrine of Prosperity Gospel. Had he included a mention of his faith, his critics would probably call him out on that too.

With politicians, it's usually love or hate. To some DJT can do no good and that's just how it goes. If Martha Stewart ran for president and had a sound, intelligible, message, I would consider her. The truth is that I don't even feel like voting anymore. We'll wait and see.

By default, having been born in sin, we belong to the kingdom of darkness.
we all have opinions I suppose, at least the carnal person does, but when we realize and come to faith we know our opinion doesn't matter, we are His and His thoughts and ways become ours.
Another way our "cannot" view is more truly a "will not" place, an area where we are not conformed to the image of the Son, as required if we are His.
We must seek out His direction, I don't know of any who are told to not vote, since we see in Daniel how He raises up and takes down rulers, in this age since Christ indwells the believer, we must be His hands and His feet in walking out His plan for this to be manifest.
best wishes

If Trump is a hate mongering evil bad man like the media keeps trying to tell us then why is it not his followers that are doing all the rioting and looting stores, destroying property & killing cops , Orange Man Bad?
People are people and they make their own choices.
