this little garden spider, who we've named Gardenia, has been living on our back deck for a little more than a week now. today, coming home from church post's wife went out to look for her, because she was missing yesterday.. turns out she had just moved her web to a less conspicuous location -- and just as Clover found her ((post's wife = Clover)), she had caught a grasshopper and was wrapping it up! here's one from a couple dozen photos i took & will spend some part of today processing.
