Anyone know of a place desperately in need of Jesus? I don't care how war torn or Christian hating the place is... Or even if it is in a Five star hotel....

I am thinking about doing a mission after this semester of college...

The world is so big I don't know where to start...

Dear T_Laurich

Firstly u must pray and ask God, if you are called on mission trip..in my opinion, even if we are not going to do a mission trip, but we as a people of God and who are already acquainted with Christ we can be salt and light to the environment around us, to be honest these days many Christians who are alive but do not provide an example and a good example. According to me you can start by giving the example of life for people around you, when I was in school I was determined to finish my school with good, im learn as well and have the best performance, I do it to keep people around I see that there is a God in my life ...I believe you can, but I'm very appreciative and wondering about your desire to travel mission

be blessing

Make sure you are following the lead of the Holy Spirit or things might go south fast. You can sign up for a mission with Campus Crusade for Christ. They take college aged students on a mini mission. I just spoke with some college students going to Korea for 3 weeks to do a mission.

Whatever you do, pray about it first.

Start off near home. No need to travel across the entire US to talk about Christ :) I'm sure there are places within a few hrs that need Jesus

Agreed, sometimes its just easier to go to people we don't know so we don't feel judged... I now see the flaw in my quick jump at a mission... :)

I know it's hard if you start it with family, but neighbors or old friends who don't ever hear the gospel can be your first mission trip.

firstly.. bloom where you are planted so wherever you are right now, start from there and eventually God will use you along the way and enlarge your territories. You'll be surprised one day on how God has used you by just starting off baby steps. Just take it slow, one step at a time.

And always keep in mind, do things for His Glory.
