For everyone that is wondering "does God still do miracles", I can assure you he does... I honestly get a few huge miracles each year... So far the first of this year was a life saving one...

The story will be below with a few pictures...

So I was traveling from my town in New Mexico to Phoenix with my family and some friends to go see the Super Cross race. The whole trip is about 7-9 hours depending on the speed and how many stops you take. Being a teenager with a sports car I averaged a very good time of 7 hours to phoenix... This was roughly 90mph average with a few spots that I hit above 130...

The whole trip I kept complaining to my friend that I need a new alignment on my car when we get back to my town. For a few miles the car would track straight then it would start pulling hard to the left for a few miles then it would track straight again... Unknown to me or my friend, my camber bolt was coming loose. This literally started the second we took off from my house.

After a 7 hour trip with going above 130mph, and doing these things I call race car turns, where I shake my steering wheel from side to side to make my passengers fly around... We reached Phoenix. We got off the interstate at our turn off and stopped at a red light, waiting for it to turn green. Our plan was to go to the hotel only 1/2 a mile away drop off our stuff and head over to the super cross event for a great night.

Once the light turned green, I started to make the left hand turn and it sounded like a rock hit my under-carriage as if I was going 60mph... Then my car lost all power from the engine... I downshifted from 2nd to first thinking maybe I was lugging it too much and still nothing... I had just enough power to keep cruising at 5mph but it wouldn't accelerate... Then smoke started coming out of no where and I shut my car off...

I got out of my car to find that my tire was tucked under the car... This could and should have happened at any point during my trip... If it did happen at any point except this one, the tire would have tucked under, causing the car to instantly flip, and flipping a car at 90mph let alone 130 on an interstate... I and my friend would be dead... It didn't happen during my "race car turns" or me going 130 down the interstate... And the reason it didn't is God... Because the whole trip it was moving around freely...

When we finally found the camber bolt and put it back in, my step father who is an atheist said "Dude, you need to say a prayer to your God, you are lucky to be alive".

Seriously, God still does miracles, I have many other accounts from when I should have served a 1 year jail sentence but every lawyer including mine decided to take a vacation without any notice, and I skipped the court date because I was helping clean up Oklahama from a tornado, and forget to tell the judge or my lawyer.... We all took vacation all 4 of us in total without any notice, and forgetting to tell the judge. To so many other miracles...

I don't know why he chooses some people to share tons of miracles with and others little... But it's not my plan... I just want you to know, God is still the same today as He was back then.

Here are the pics.

Maybe you shouldn't be doing "race car turns" with a car that is not a race car that is right up there with drunk driving.

I had my wheel fall off on my way from Homer Ak. to Anchorage Ak. but I was fortunate that I was in the mountains doing maybe 45 mph.

Yes, you saw a miracle. But the miracle now in my life is the faith that I strongly still have in God's working out all things for good in my life. Cancer of the mouth, bones in my nose (broken one), and into my sinus area.

Few people look at faith as a miracle, but since faith comes only from Jesus and it shows itself more strongly when under the darkest of times, it must be!

I still believe that God knows his purposes for my life - and as scripture says "they shall still bear fruit in the land of their affliction". To believe that is a miracle.

To believe that God has appointed me to go through this for his glory to be revealed in some way is also a miracle.

I hope this encourages someone else who does not see miracles always working out the way they want them to.

I'm from the Northeast, where the best speed limits we have are 65 mph, but I know speed limits are higher in the southwest desert areas. 130 mph an hour though? I've never gone faster than 110 and only because that's as fast as the bike would go. 130 mph? Seriously, dude? Every mother-gene in me is shrieking motherly advice here. (And, I'm not typing it all out. lol)
