They are both connected to the Catholic Church and that is why they are called Protestants they Protested some of the catholic ways. The Protestant Churches for the most part have different teaching and that is why there are so many with no reasoning together as explained in the Bible.

You can do a "search" of Baptist church beliefs or Methodist church beliefs.........but, be aware there are many different Baptist churches. So be specific..........such as Southern Baptist, Primitive Baptist, Missionary Baptist or such.

Probably the same with the Methodist church, but don't know for sure. Good luck though........

they are not part of the Catholic church, as in the Roman Catholic Church. Just saying.
