Yes, but there isn't anything in the bible that says we can't skip class. That is a wordly law, and if it is wordly, it doesn't mean that I moraly have to follow it I personally enjoy skipping the odd class.
Romans 13:1-2 tell us to be in subjection to the superior authorities even as we are to God. further, we are to be in relative subjection to kings and governors as they have their positions due to God's allowance. (1Peter 2:13-17)
Only when man's laws conflict with God's as when early Christians were ordered by Jewish and Roman courts to stop preaching about Christ did they refuse. (Acts 5:41)
Or by taking part in the governments. Matt. 6:24 shows we can not serve 2 masters. John 18:36 shows Jesus talking to the Roman government that his Kingdom was no part of this world so his followers were not either. (Mark 12:17; John 15:19; 17:16)
The word of god says: "obey the law of the land"
Romans 13 Submission to the Authorities 1Everyone must submit himself to the governing authorities, for there is no authority except that which God has established. The authorities that exist have been established by God. 2Consequently, he who rebels against the authority is rebelling against what God has instituted, and those who do so will bring judgment on themselves. 3For rulers hold no terror for those who do right, but for those who do wrong. Do you want to be free from fear of the one in authority? Then do what is right and he will commend you. 4For he is God's servant to do you good. But if you do wrong, be afraid, for he does not bear the sword for nothing. He is God's servant, an agent of wrath to bring punishment on the wrongdoer. 5Therefore, it is necessary to submit to the authorities, not only because of possible punishment but also because of conscience. 6This is also why you pay taxes, for the authorities are God's servants, who give their full time to governing. 7Give everyone what you owe him: If you owe taxes, pay taxes; if revenue, then revenue; if respect, then respect; if honor, then honor.
It doesn't answer my question though. You break the law everyday and don't even realise it I would almost put money on it. If you looked into the laws there, you would find some ridiculous laws that are not inforced but you probably still break them. Besides this isn't a law, but a rule, a rule that isn't inforced by a king or in Canada's case a Prime Minister.

I'm just saying that you or your parents probably break laws very often, without thinking about it. I know I do. I jay walk theres a law right there broken. I have driven the car without my license another law broken. I have eaten icecream on Bank street on a sunday, another law broken. My parents have gone over the speed limit another one broken. There is a line I draw on laws. And if I am still getting my work done, I shall and will feel free to take a "break" every now and than.
You two are very entertaining. I want to put you two in the same room and watch the sparks fly. I'll stand in the corner with a bucket of water just in case.

Eh, don't worry about it, it's all good. It's always good to ask your parents permission before doing something like this. I should have put a disclaimer at the bottom of that message lol
