Cause it's a new beginning. Whereas when it's the end, we have to wait months and months for a new beginning to come.

Ooooh... ok... got it... now it makes sense...

There's no such thing in Brazil when it comes to soccer... there's always a championship going on... sometimes they overlay each other...

So there's no long time away from soccer here... :)

I love, love, love playing soccer. When I play it for fun that is I turn it into a tackle sport and ended up getting tackled myself and loved it even more.:)

Yeah, I don't really want it back, but it still needs out of the drain
Chewing gum at the end of a hanger. It's probably stuck right before the S trap.

(Eek! I just pictured the chewing gum falling off the hanger.

C'mon ladies you can enjoy watching football too, but just for a different reason:eek:
I do. I like watching the pregame show on FOX. Then I find out what's supposed to happen. The hubby watches other guys after the games to see what really did happen. (Only one I recognize used to be the Colts' coach. Can't remember his name, but he is one of two coaches from that era that scared me when I saw him coaching, only to find out as a commentator he's a very happy kind man -- and also a Christian.)

Watching the games though? Too tense. Every time someone on the team I'm rooting for messes up or an official makes the wrong call, our TV is in danger of me throwing something at it. lol

Honestly... I cant stand football... I only watch it when the Dallas Cowboys play (pro) or the OU Sooner Play (college).

Even then... I have no clue what is going on... i just dont understand how football works. and yes the husband has tried many times to explain the game to me... I just dont get it... :(
So you're really upset the 'boys won tonight too?

Cowboys -- the only team I cannot stand! And you might blame that on them being in the same division as the Eagles, but I feel sorry for the 'skins and enjoy games with the Giants in it, unless they happen -- on a very rare occasion -- beat the Eagles. (I have a good attitude with games. Either my team wins or I forget all about the game moments later. lol)

The first Sunday of the NFL season is one of the best days of the year .
Are you confused? Didn't you mean Super Bowl Sunday? lol

If not, surely you meant Monday Night, since that's when the Eagles play.

Maybe,But if they are really atheist I would think they are looking for a challenge at best and to plant seeds of doubt at worse.
Yeah, but God has been known to change people when they least expect it. (My hubby was "that atheist." He went to bed angry at God after losing another debate with a Christian woman who really knew her Bible and woke up a believer.)

The team has a chance to win the big game at the beginning of the season. By the end of it, 30 teams have no chance. lol

For me, Manchester United will always be the best. They won 3-1 against Liverpool on the last match. Woohoo!! :p

American football still havent watched a full game (espn) but im so confused like whats with all the scrambling around the field tackling ppl when they dont even have the ball i dont see the point in rubgy you tackle the dude or dudess with the ball because they can score . It was so different to rugby and it wasnt constant running action or alot of it so i stopped watching . Ughh help a kiwi out who likes her rugby much more straight forward game

Honestly, I don't watch their games often enough to REALLY be a fan... But my daddy was a a HUGE fan, so therefore we watched the games with him. My brother still watches the games, I gave up years ago lol
