Rewriting the History of Science”
I think we as believers and disciples of Christ need to more educated and more engaged in the scientific discussion going on in the world. We have remained silent too long. We have allowed ignorance to grow and those who are outspoken lack the knowledge and depth of SCIENCE to make educated and informed debate FOR God, and I find it very sad.
The aethist and nonbelievers have taken over our schools and their thoughts dominate science as presented today. I ask you my brothers and sister not to waste my time or yours, but to give me educated books and references to help me make well informed and educated conversation with my fellow science teachers and believers of our Lord and savior Jesus Christ.
My pastor said “I doubt you are being called to make a reform in the education system, just pray about it before and after teaching”
I’m sorry pastor, I love you but you are wrong. I am being called to make a difference. God has given me the education and the abilities to converse intelligently on the subject and it take just one person, just one voice under the influence of the Holy spirit to make a difference in the mindset of the world, because it is not the person but the HOLY SPIRIT that speaks inside all of us that just needs the words to let the world HEAR Him.
For example study the track scientist and philosophers were headed before the idea of genetics and inheritance was introduced to the world. Did you Mendel was a Christian monk? Did you know he wasn’t a scientist but the “idea came to him while gardening one day”?
Science should be seeking the Truth, and the Truth is found only in God. The Bible speaks of inheritance and traits being passed down from generations to generations. Its called curses and blessings: genetic diseases and spiritual gifts.
We need to remember and pray.
If you have books or other God inspired sources or ideas on the subject of science please post below, I’m rereading my science books so that I remember to emphases and plant seeds that will make kids wonder that perhaps there is more left unspoken about how the world works then presented to them by the material and secular world.
Please pray for all teachers, students and places of education that God’s presence is felt even if we can not speak His name, Please Lord send Your angels to surround the campus and make them into sanctuaries for learning of YOUR Truth and not the lies of demons and darkness. In Jesus name, we pray AMEN.
