It just so happens that making wax flowers is a little hobby of mine, and, recently making some for a friend's birthday, have been looking up what the different ones are supposed to be for. So in case you're interested, roses are for love (red ones anyway) and violets are for watchfulness and faithfulness, meaning "I'll always be true".
My roses are white
And violets are violet
Aint tried this before
I might as well trial it
Your roses are red
Your violets look blue
We vary in stature
And what we've been through
One common thread binds us
And asks us to grow:
Our reverance for Christ's love
-To make ourselves low
And serve one another
With humble respect
And choose our words wisely
For loving effect
So roses for love
And violets -stay true
Let's take the example
He gave me and you
John 13:1-5
