I promise you I am not in a churchy trap, I won't put on a show, and it will probably be far from what those who are used to speaking prayer out loud are saying, but it will be what comes from the heart I assure you. I can say that my small church group is far from judgmental -- they just offer to let us say it if we choose, I have turned it down so far. I'm finding my own comfort zone with the whole small group thing and learning first.

I just don't truly understand why you would take someone like myself asking a question from the heart and tell me to just not say nothing because it was not meaningful if it was recited. I truly considered leaving this website because I don't want to have any negativity in my life from something that I had truly hoped to learn from. I just think that it would be more meaningful if we could all speak kinder to others in all instances. I hope you understand that I am not criticizing you - I am not. Just wanted to share my feelings as well.

Welcome to CC. Please give us grace if we are lacking in our responses to any of your questions . Some of us have been here awhile and have dealt with everything from Atheists to bored people trying to get a rise out of us. I look back at how I have treated some people here with regret because of my lack of grace. We, as Christians, are at different spots along our walk with Christ and our Sanctification.

I see you come from a catholic background. Praise God He called you out and you accepted Jesus as your Lord and Savior! I was a catholic also, and went to catholic school.
I hope you find fellowship and refreshment here.

Thank you so much! I need as much grace from all of you as I give grace! I am learning and as you can see, I can get my feelings hurt easily as one of those who isn't as knowledgeable -- but that is why I came here -- to learn more and grow in Christ with my sisters and brothers! I am so thankful that God called me out and allowed Jesus into my life as Lord and Savior! Both me and my husband are so grateful and our marriage has grown in leaps and bounds since this happened. We are truly seeing the rewards of our heavenly Father. Thank you for your kind and warm welcome! I love everyone hear and am very open to learning so much more!
