so, does anyone actually belive in scientology, or is it a kind of joke, like the moon landing conspiracy theorists, or is it an anti-religion thing like the FSM?

dude, i know its not real, ive read their belifs, it ridiculous, just asking if its like FSM or somthing.

No, it is a genuine cult, not like the flying spaghetti monster... More like Mormonism or the "new age" movement.
Their beliefs may be way out there, but that doesn't make them any less sincere, at least at the low levels. At the top, however, I am sure that the leaders realize that the beliefs are on par with the flying spaghetti monster.
