It was written, ''SEEK FIRST THE KINGDOM OF GOD AND HIS RIGHTEOUSNESS.'' Have you sought?

What is this seeking? The Lord explains the seeking very well:

Mat 13:45 Again, the kingdom of heaven is like unto a merchant man, seeking goodly pearls:
Mat 13:46 Who, when he had found one pearl of great price, went and sold all that he had, and bought it.

And again:

Luk 15:8 Either what woman having ten pieces of silver, if she lose one piece, doth not light a candle, and sweep the house, and seek diligently till she find it?
Luk 15:9 And when she hath found it, she calleth her friends and her neighbours together, saying, Rejoice with me; for I have found the piece which I had lost.
Luk 15:10 Likewise, I say unto you, there is joy in the presence of the angels of God over one sinner that repenteth.

The kingdom of God has to be sought. You have to turn it all upside down. The Lord showed me I wasn't seeking when one day I lost my wallet. I was in a rush to go to work, and I needed the money in it to eat. I turned my room upside down, ''SEEKING'' it, and I found it. The clothes I had ironed were wrinkled and the pristine hair was messed up. But I found it. I sought it. And as it was also written:

Luk 11:9 And I say unto you, Ask, and it shall be given you; seek, and ye shall find; knock, and it shall be opened unto you.

And the Lord said:

Joh 10:9 I am the door: by me if any man enter in, he shall be saved, and shall go in and out, and find pasture.

SEEK!!! Don't just peek.

May Jesus bless you.

Um, I just wanted to point out that that first reference in Luke, Luke 15:8-10, is more like an example of how God loves us and how He will find us when we are lost. For example, right before that, (Luke 15:1-7) Jesus speaks of the shepherd leaving his 99 sheep to search for the one that was lost. And, after it (Luke 15: 9-32) He talks about the prodigal son... So, I don't mean anything by telling you this, I just think that blip doesn't quite match the others..... yeah...

Exactly. And that same love is made manifest in us so that we follow his will. His disciples do the same thing he did when he was on this earth.

May Jesus bless you.
