We knew all along that Opie was a bit unstable, didn’t we, and his dad’s friends certainly weren’t a very good influence on him.

More devastating news for the sheriff,the hottie school teacher * what was her name??* anyway , seems she dumped the ex- sheriff and is now pursuing Barney...apparently she likes men in uniform.

Yes, I never trusted Helen Crump. And you know Barney—he’ll fall for her. That will be the tragedy after this is all over. Andy will have his name cleared, but Barney will lose the best thing that ever happened to him—Thelma Lou.

Ben Matlock charges a lot of money, doesn’t he? $100,000 per case? I don’t know if Andy can afford that, unless the rumors are true that he’s been embezzling money from the county. I want to go on record as saying I can’t believe Andy has been embezzling money from the county.

I concur. Andy is not a thief. He is a Southern gentleman who will help any one of us, if ever we're in need! This is a classic example of defamation of character. His accusers should be served with court papers naming them as defendants for the charges of slander and libel.

Enough said.
