I am attending a Bible college that is eight hours away from my home. Now I do not have much of a home (if you read my testimony), but I have established some healthy and I will admit some not so healthy friendships back home.
Okay, the point is: when the semester is over, naturally students will go home. Well I want to, so I can see my friends and my brother, ect. Also, I have the opportunity to attend some camps to represent my college and the money I make will go towards my tuition this semester, so I do not have to work as much. I will be working two jobs and going to school full time. The camps are from the end of May until the end of June. The only problem with this is... I will have to find a ride (cannot drive; epilepsy) from my home 8 hours away when I go back on May 10th and then attend these camps then find a ride back to my home until school starts and find another ride back for the fall semester. I want to go home to see my friends, church friends, everybody, but I know I have the option to stay here for two months after school lets out, and just go back home for one month.
On the flip side, I could work really hard this semester with two jobs (like I did last semester) and go home for all three months of summer.
When I went home for Christmas break I had the want to stay, maybe because I miss it or maybe because I didn't get enough time to get sick of my hometown again (hahaha!)
I also was trying to find out how I could stay at home and finish school online, but God has really used this college to bless me and I don't want to go back home just because I am used to it. Understand?
Any opinions are welcome. Please.

Home is always home! Take the opportunities GOD has presented to you with the camps and check who lives near or ask a church member for the rides. I am sure they are proud of you and would love to help. We often do that at church. That is what your church family is for. My oldest works at the camps every summer to reduce the work hours during the semesters as the money really is good. God Bless!

Thank you for that insight!

8 hour ride is a long one maybe a bus would be a better option... although seeking instruction from God in that quiet place is where you can find the best answer.
