While I was laughing out loud at the trusting doctors statement I managed to read your response. Thanks for saving me the trouble and keeping me from saying something unkind. I try so hard to sympathize with these poor naive souls that believe every single thing the world tells them, and yet somehow can’t comprehend anything that God tells them, or trust it or obey it, it’s so incredibly sad that sometimes I just have to laugh to keep from crying. I do pray for them, sincerely. It would be nice to see one of those prayers answered now and then. Have the minds of men ever been so darkened? Have their hearts ever been so hard. Lord have mercy.

First let me say that if you do not trust in God's protection and living in such a way as to warrant his protection, no amount of preparing will mater.
But to not prepare as best as you can for uncertainty is foolish.
Only store what has a long shelf life and you use every day and rotate it as used.
Dry beans and rice and canned fruit and vegetables last for years.
Water can be stored and preserved with a little bleach for a year or more and should also be rotated as used.
A good water can be purchased for $300 that will filter over 20,000 gallons of water.
Be willing to share with fellow church members and learn how to, be willing to protect your family and other church members with force if needed.
And then get right with God and pray His protection if it be His will.
