There is no book section, so I had no clue where to write this. I was wanting to know if anyone on here is a Ted Dekker fan? He is my fave author. I find his stories so strange but absolutely brilliant. He is in my opinion the best author on the planet.

Hi mate. I've read most of Ted Dekker's book and enjoy them. The last few have been a bit sub-par though. My favourites are Thr3e, The Circle Quartet, Showdown and Saint.

I am reading Saint as we speak. I love his style of writing Black was the first one I read, and I have been hooked since.

Saint is very good. Sinner is really good too but different to most (all?) of his works.

I've read some of his stuff. It was pretty good. More of a Perettie fan, though. But they did collaborate didn't think? Did i read that? Hmm...
Check out Tosca Lee. I've only read one so far, by her. Demon: A Memoir, but it was awesome. A demon comes to a man who works for a publishing company and wants this man to publish the demons memoirs. It has some pretty interesting ways of approaching some old biblical stories. I didn't agree with everything in it, but it was still a good read.

There is no book section, i think, because it wouldn't be used enough. Every so often someone recommends it, or creates a thread just for books. Usually it doesn't last more than a few days, a week at best. Seems once the reads post their thoughts and recommendations, they have nothing more to add and the thread dies.

Yeah, I love Peretti too. But for some reason I am more of a Dekker fan. And they collaborated for the book House. I have not read it yet but the movie was good, I know I will like the book. I have heard of Tosca Lee, I do plan to read her books.

I only read, Ted Dekker's "The Skin". I wanna read his "circle series" (black, red, green, white), coz one of my friends been telling me about it whenever we meet. She's so a ted dekker fan. I read few pages in black and find it so interesting.

I love Peretti's books too.. tommy tenney, and the classic, max lucado books.

I like his suspense books more than anything else. The circle trilogy isn't bad, but all the books that went with them got really old really quick for me

Skin is House done right. The Bride Collector was also pretty good. I enjoy Frank Peretti and knew of his works long before Ted Dekker but he also pumps out his books more slowly. That said, Peretti has more of a focus on character development and Dekker more of a focus on thought-provoking themes and twists. They're apples and oranges.

House was crazy. Like a full blown Christian horror, if that makes sense, hmm. I read the book when it came out, saw the movie a few years later. Movie was surprisingly good for a Christian movie, in part because the cheap feel actually fit with the style of movie. Kind of a b-movie feel.

Yeah, it was awesome! My brother usually dislikes Christian movies due to the usually less then okay acting, directing and so on, but even he liked it!

Frank is awesome, but I'm deeply interested in the Psychology in both evil and good, which Ted Dekker gets into in his books, I love that. But I love Frank Peretti too. My mom likes him better then Ted Dekker because in her opinion, Dekkers books can get gross...which I guess you could look at it that way...but that is not how I look at it really.

I really liked house and skin, and agree with Ugly, the house movie was great, much better than the film version of three.

Maybe they just got old for me because I read a lot of them all at once.
