Anybody ever had something or someone come along and really push your faith? A test is good every now and then but sometimes they can almost be too much' When people talk to you like you're nothing and make you so mad that if you were close to them there's no telling what you might do. That's when you have to pray super hard and give God the controls. I've been pushed to that limit a few times since I started my Christian walk. I'm not perfect and niether is anyone else on this planet. There was only one perfect one and that was Jesus Christ. It kills me when people try to act superior just because they've been given some title by another person. I feel that no man on this earth is superior to me or am I superior to anyone else. The only title I'm interested in is the one given me by God. Sometimes I can be a very intense person especially when I try and come to the defence of a person whom I think is being wronged. I absolutely despise it when people with a little so called power try to just bully others around. I myself in my job have to be careful not to unfairly impose my authority over the inmates I watch everyday. I have to ask God to keep me humble in my dealings and the way I speek to them cause even though they are incarcerated they are still men and a man has to talk to another man with respect. That's a lot whats wrong with the world today. Too many people being fake and claiming to be Christian but treating and talking to their fellow man in an unChristian way. My faith was tested yet again but I'm so thankful to the Lord above that I was able to maintain my level Of Christanity. God bless all the people on this site and across the world. God bless the people who say they are Christian but don't show true christian values in every aspect of their life. Thank the Lord i'm not what I use to be.

amen brotha!..lol..i think its great that you're keeping yourself humble eventhough almost everybody around you isnt treating you with respect.
that is when we grow the most, when our faith is being tested day after day.that is something that i too struggle with..maybe not as often as you but there were a couple of times when ppl looked down on me and said some horrible things because they didnt agree with my faith..it was harsh and i got really angry a couple of times but as time passed by i learned that we as christians will always meet ppl like this in this lifetime so we ought to show them how to act and stay humble and in control of your anger at all times.so this should be a reminder for all us christians not to act like ppl of this world no matter how bad they treat us. it is our job to show them how to walk in love at all times

God bless!

Jesus was tempted in every way, and His faith tested as well. Remember, be a light, an example, live what you should and what you want others to live. Don't ever give up, don't ever back down, and remember one other thing. Romans 12:1-2 I BESEECH you therefore, breathern, by the mercies of God, that ye present your bodies a living sacrifice, holy, acceptable unto God, which is your resonable service. And be not conformed to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, that ye may prove what is good, and acceptable, and perfect, will of God.

Believe me, I know how it is to have the faith tested, and to be persecuted, but that's okay, it builds the faith up even more! Keep on keeping on, hold your head high as a child of God!

I don't know if my faith in the Lord Jesus can be tested by others. I guess when you separate the acts of other people from God, you won't get scandalized as easily.
Everyone's faith is tested and we're all tempted and persecuted. Even Jesus went through said things. Makes the whole concept of ''be more Christ like'' more literal eh?If we as Christians don't feel any of those things, something just might, in fact, probably is wrong. Satan attacks those living for Christ, he wants to make us sin against God, ourself, and others. In fact, if our faith wasn't tested, then how would it ever grow? We're warned in 2 Timothy 3:12 Yea, and all that will live godly in Christ Jesus shall suffer persecution.

Stop and think a moment, as the end times draw closer and closer, as they do with each day that passes, we will be persecuted, tempted, afflicted, tested, you name it. There's people that will try and make us recant our faith eventually possibly anyways. The world is really crazy, they're working on and talking about a one world goverment, we're going to lose everything...even our right to believe as we wish, to go to church, carry a Bible, be open about our faith, and so on.

As for getting scandalized, satan is the father of lies and confusion. He can ''pull the wool over'' anyone's eyes that's only human. We have to seek out the truth, seek God's face, humble ourselves down, lift up His name, and so on, you know how it goes. Our faith is tested by others all the time, satan uses them, as they're not saved. Not always friends that do the testing, but complete strangers.

If ever you think that you can't or aren't being tested and everything seems to be fine and perfect in life, be prepared satan's planning something. Now I mean be preapared, not expect it. If you expect something, you'll believe it strong enough that it'll eventually happen. But being prepared is as soon as you feel, think, or see things just aren't quiet the same or normal you start praying, rebuking satan, and all that. I suggest to anyone out there who doesn't think their faith in Jesus Christ can be tested or anything to think again, read God's word, see the truth. Anyways, sorry to go on, just had to say this much. God bless.

You are so right! You will even be tested by people who call themselves Christians. Beware of false profits. There are some people even on here who profess to be one thing Christians, pastors or whatever they wanna call themselves who don't act like what they claim to be. I can only pray and keep on going.

Amen brother, seen that myself. I agree, all you, and any of us can do is pray. There's soooo much power in prayer. Never give up, keep going, and God bless!
