I'd prefer several Hyenas to lions. Hyenas in packs are known to scare lions too.

We can have hyeans for scaring people with ther laugh, and lions for the muscle power.

I'm more a fan of tigers and wolves.

Vengeance & Fig are not noisy when you see them they only like being laughy in happy playful moods or defensive cautious moods. They roam mostly near the dining area & our indoor fountain.
