I catch this reality show every so often and discovered their oldest son and his family have moved to DC. They have a very nice house that is probably worth $500,000. (Just a guess.) Whatever the cost of the house is, it is much more than a young man like him can usually afford. This young man is in his mid twenties, has no college degree, has a house full of decent furniture, 3 kids, a wife that doesn't work outside the home. My question is what kind of job does he have that allows him and his family to live like this? I am sure the proceeds from the show go to help pay for the big family home in Arkansas (or where ever it is) and support the other kids.

I realize this is really none of my business, but they have put their lives in the public arena and of course, some of us have to be curious.

I was curious about that myself, it's probably money from being on the show. Unless he's a really good saver. Washington DC is an expensive place to live.

They seem to manage their finances well. Josh used to run a car dealership in Arkansas but got a lobbying job in DC. Apparently, they don't make purchases with credit card and advocate "buy used and save the difference" (thrifting), and I guess it pays off. I really admire them. :)

They have been and are on T.V. for a very long time. The answer to the question is the Lord has blessed them. They have reaped what they have sown. If you ever look at this family, and wonder how they continue to be flowing in love with each program, with all the lights, all the interviews, all the way from home to all the way to the many places, then you know why they have all that they need, because the Lord is their shepard, they live talk and walk in Love, I admire them, and they produced the fruits of the HOly Spirit, to the whole world, and the Lord has given them favor with people, also they are very thrifty, and very much blessed.
