Okay. I don't know much about computer history and I'm not very old sooo... I do remember this older book we had that talked about it. Not sure when it was published.

And for sure, a modern version of "The Chip" may be the mark of the beast, and function as your ID, method of payment, method of employers paying you, etc. It is technically possible and even feasible.

But that's also what they said about UPC barcodes... And Social Security numbers... And driver's licenses... And a few other things, I lost count.

I've decided to wait until it happens before I start hollering about it. Then at least I'll know what I'm hollering about. Should be a refreshing change from everyone hollering about what they think MIGHT happen.

Interesting how did he know about it?
I'm not sure. He knew a lot of things that I never had a chance to talk to him about the details on. Like Disney has sooo much hidden in it alone. I did hear him say that the things we see on TV are things they are trying to desence us of so when it happens we will already be adjusted to it. Example: terminator, I robot , and so on..... Now we have ai bots. Now how true all that is , is up to an individual but I can see that. Like now there is a lot of movie stuff coming out with portals and such, people are working on "cern" wich seems to be a start to a portal.

I think there a connection to all this. I may be rong but I can see it

I understand. But I am glad people are cautious.

Caution is like caffeine, religion or watching the news: Good in moderation, but an excess can do terrible things to your blood pressure. :geek:

I think I agree with that mostly... but not so sure about the religion part! I guess there's that saying where someone is "too heavenly minded to be any earthly good". I don't know. I get the sentiment. I've met people who didn't seem like they could ever take a joke or anything because they were trying to be so righteous. But then Christ is supposed to first in a Christian's life.

I agree with this. We can run around like headless chickens saying this is it or that is it.....or just let the lord do his will and be focused on him. We may not know the day nor the hour but focusing on him will allow everything else fall into place according to his time and will.

Hollywood is a huge influence on people, even Christians, and it's time for people to wake up.
There is light in the darkness. The movie 'Jesus Revolution' about the 70's Jesus revolution featuring Pastor Greg Laurie's life is a box office hit. There is also world-wide Christian TV via TBN. Now other Christian movies are being introduced with good results.
However, a few years back said it all about secular Hollywood when the 'best movie of the year' went to 'the shape of water'. The message being how a shy deaf woman engaged with a sea creature after 'falling' for him. Some scenes were intentionally gory and sickening. It won a total of 4 oscars and btw I didn't see it just read up on it to see how bad it was. I almost wish I hadn't:sick:.

Ok, so I watched all three of these and now I have a question.

Should we not have TV, video games , radios or anything electronic in our homes?

At first music to me was out the door. I can't listen to anything on the radio anymore. I don't watch much TV or play much video games but would it be best not to partake in any of these things? Even before watching these videos I questioned myself about it. Now I'm wondering others thoughts. Don't get me wrong I do enjoy small amounts of TV some nights, but if this is what's out there.....maybe I should cut all ties to these things.

What are your thoughts? What do you allow in your homes?

I can't take this toll yet.....I'm not sure I know where I stand. I think I might get rid of my electronics. At least once a day I think about throwing out my phone.
I completely understand and have been there too. I actually don't have a smartphone, and won't have the desktop when we move in a couple months. I'm looking forward to being more unplugged.

If you seek God about it I know He'll show you what to do.

Amen. Yes I am going to pray about this. It's probably best to get rid of these things. They are better off out of my home. Thank you for sharing these videos. I have been thinking about getting rid of them and this has encouraged me to want to even more .

M3ghan was so evil

I think you can control what you personally watch but its hard to do that for others.

with things like youtube that have intrusive ads and porn on it, or you do a search and if you looking for evil you will find it.

Most TV has always had advertising on it that nobody asks to watch. You can skip or mute ads but if you spend more time doing that its just not worth it.
Commercial radio too is exactly the same.

Facebook will run with ads of whatver you type in.

I wouldnt bother watching a lot of things out of curiousity or cos I got nothing better to do. With movies you can check the ratings before you decide to watch something though, they at least give warnings and on tv they'll say if its graphic or contains violent or sex or drug use or abusive disturbing themes. If its R rated, you probably wont be able to handle it if you are not mature. X rated dont even go there.
