If it makes you feel any better, I tried uploading gifs that I saved to my computer before and they showed up as pics too. I don't think its possible to upload animated gifs here. You have to upload them to a host site like photobucket and then copy and paste them here. I think the problem may be that the uploader here doesn't know how to compile gifs.

On my thread in the user-2-user forum, Addison said that the file sizes are probably too big for CC to handle uploading.. All my smaller gifs post and work, so he's probably right. :) Anyhoo, I went to Google images and shortcutted a bunch of cat gifs and John Stamos gifs to my Opera speed dial. LOL

I thought that too when I was trying to upload some and I made them tiny and cut them down to like 2 seconds and they still didn't work. One was of me eating an energy bar and it looked kinda funny so I really wanted it to work lol. (that was a few years ago and I no longer have the gif)
