It may be that "subjects" of their governments do not have a necessary
understanding of the rights of citizens, hence their unwillingness and inability to
conduct themselves in a civil manner.
The posting of the pictures reveals they are prone to an aberrant concept
of the world they live in.
They have my sympathy and pity.

Scandinavia is very much so. Maybe it's due to the liberal gun legislation (liberal by European standards, I mean) they've gotten here?

I'm going to honor Zeroturb's request and not engage the topic any further on this thread.

Back on topic. I have a sweet little shotgun I'm fixing to test. I ain't been using it for years, it's a black Winchester Defender ( yeah, I know, it totally ain't no lady's gun lol), but it's nice and tiny, so I guess I'll be fine.

Looked it up online. Seems like a nice one!

I'll add it to my list of shotgun choices. I'll probably get an 870 though.

muzzle blast in an enclosed area is a concern to me, a 22 should be adequate, a hit with a 22 is better than a miss with anything else.

Time for a new thread!!
(because the old one has devolved into a 2nd amendment rights debate)

This thread will include all Guns, Knives, Swords, Cannons, Lasers, etc....as well as Hunting, Target Shooting, Home Defense, Personal Defense/EDC (everyday carry) and Hand-to-Hand Self-defense.

*No debating gun rights please..* There is another thread for that:
http://christianchat.com/miscellaneous/141586-gun-rights-against.html

I'll start it off with a question:

If you could only take one firearm to the range, what would it be?

I'm not much into loud noises, so if I were going to the range, I'd take some earplugs and this weapon.

Hey I'm just trying to adds a little humour in. Anyway, where are these people who don't live in America that come here and support the American dream of gun ownership? I don't see them.
You don't see them, because they are all busy trying to MOVE here from their oppressive, no-opportunity, serf-like lifestyles in their "own" country.

You've beaten the Vacquero drum so consistently and ably, even I am starting to wonder what I'm missing. :p
You should check one out...

They are a lot of fun to shoot, and they are aesthetically pleasing, and they will last forever, more or less....

Anyway, to answer the OP..... If I could only take one gun to the range? Tough decision....

The .22 rifles are fun out to 50yds or so, but are limited by wind conditions... .22 pistols are fun at shorter ranges...

My TC Contender carbine in .22 K-Hornet is a lot of fun for 100 yd shooting of small groups...

9mm and .45 pistols are fun for short range paper punching...

Probably for overall "fun at any range" kind of thing, I'd have to choose the scoped AR-15....

I didn't even notice the question he snuck in there. :p

Well if it's one range gun, I can get a little creative.

But I'm not feeling creative. Lee-Enfield.
