The International Date Line??????
Have you never looked at a map?
In the book around the World in 80 Days
they travel around the world and count the sunrises and sunsets and when they get back to England they have
gained a day
If they went the other way they would have lost a day
The IDL is 180 degrees away from the Meridien if Greenwich which is 0 degrees.
When ever you cross the IDL travelling East you lose a day(I have done this)
Travelling West you lose a day.
I could leave Sydney for USA early friday morning and arrive in USA late Thursday evening.
