So I am starting this post as I know we all encounter those selfish and rude individuals in life and we hold in what we really want to say or do to show our Love for good by displaying good attitude and manners.

That being said there are times in which we really want to say something.

Obviously this post has to do with an experience and here is mine in which I held my tongue and actions. Mind you my oldest is the one who have me the stern look as my child knows me and what I wanted to do.

I was just in a pizza parlor with the youth group. I am the only adult and I personally do not mind the trend being trend and joking, playing and talking loud. After they are I told all 16 to go play sharks and minos and I will settle the bill. This lady says loudly as after they left..." nothing like a bunch it loud annoying kids to ruin my meal." I looked at her and smiled, settled my bill and walked out. Then I thought you know what lady I should show you are they get their happy crazy side from and moon you through this window. However...I walked in again after my oldest have me a stern look of Please Mom No!....and handed her an invitation to church for Easter.

My question to you is what have you encountered and how did you handle it? Would you have perferred to say something or do something different? What did you really want to say or do verses allowing your Christian attitude shine through?
My three words to her would not have been, "Good morning, Sunshine."

over-all, it really depends upon the situation...

I will just share though, that when I was coming-up that we were taught, not only at home,
but also in school and church that no matter where we were, alone or with super-vision, that
we were to be ladies and gentlemen and respect all of those around us,,,,

in the process of growing-up, I must confess that I, at times was rude, obnoxious and very
'silly-acting' with my friends...but, as I matured I became very aware of others feelings and
how my questionable behavior affected them...long storyshort, because I did love the Lord, He eventually
convicted me of my youthful foolishness and it also gave me understanding of that need I had to express
my pent-up childish emotions -
through my experience, I have been able to explain myself and my actionsto many who have crossed my path....
whether young or old!

I remember one time when an acquaintance said something that I thought was very rude, but I could tell that she hadn't even thought about it in that light...she was simply too self-involved to think how it would sound to me. I turned to my sister and quoted a line from a book that had a thin relevance to the conversation. The acquaintance thought I had said something, but because of the context of the book my sister heard me as saying something totally different. Oh...dear. I shall never forget the girl's innocent, somewhat confused smile, while my sister is biting her tongue bloody so she doesn't laugh. It was perhaps not the time when I've shown the most Christian love, but I shall always remember it as a way of being a *little* rude in return without the dear girl having the faintest clue.

When we are in our flesh it is easy to do as a fool does but when we strive to walk in the spirit we do as Christ has taught.

Proverbs 26:4
Answer not a fool according to his folly, lest you be like him yourself.

Probably shouldn't post the things I would like to say to the rude individual in front of me...

And you shouldn't say God Bless You when you really want to say God banish you to the Pit... But sometimes I slip...
