I don't know. I've never been east of Chicago, Illinois or west of San Francisco, California.

I remember having a foreign exchange student when I was a kid. I was scared of him.

I was exaggerating a little. We probably didn't treat him as well as we should have, but we were young and weren't used to foreign exchange students.

Someone somewhere thought it would be a good idea. I don't know how they arranged it.

You have to go through an agency and pass lots tests and stuff before they assign you a student. My favorite cousin was a Brazilian exchange student and lived with my aunt. I also have a german cousin that I got the same way.

My aunt did. Otherwise they'd be my brothers instead of my cousins. I want host exchange students too one day.

Sounds neat... makes me wonder... I'd like to host strange students too, as long as I have room. I hope they bring cool souvenirs... I'm the kind of jerk that likes those silly tourist souvenirs, after all they point out your home's recognised landmarks & those are usually nice... I'm also the jerk that throws random things, that are in my way, into the trash & don't realise I liked them.

Yeah but I'm embarrassed to buy them sO I don't or else I'd have Arizona souvenirs. Arizona has beautiful landmarks.

Arizona is one of the prettiest places I've ever seen.
