I like it with either salad or rice on the side. Either no sauce or pepper sauce
- or ..hm not sure what it's called there, we cal it "viltsaus" (a sauce normally served with game)

I'm very sorry, but I have to disagree Bearnaise is great on a steak! I do wanna try your viltsaus, before I judge it

it id much better

make sauce from:

• 2 ss smør | 2 tablespoons butter
• 4 ss hveteme l 4 tablespoons wheat flour |
• 8 dl kjøttkraft eller sjy | 8 dl brooth/ gravy from meat

then add

• 1 dl seterrømme | 1 dl sour cream
• 3 skive ekte geitost eller 1 ss rørte tyttebær | 3 slices of goats cheese (the brown type) or 1 tablespoon cowberries (or both )
• ½ ts salt | 1/2 teaspppon salt
• 1 ts pepper | 1 teaspoon pepper
