I understand, it is WAY easier to make fun of someone who can't defend themselves, it leaves no room for disagreement. and I'm quite nervous to be anywhere around her cyberly.

I don't think we get many "deaths" anymore though we have the highest number in the country. It's mostly people who actually catch it, get really sick from it, and are now recovering. Too bad though, they're still spreading it!
