Alexander, if indeed such words were from the Spirit, the message is clear. I think what you ought to grasp out of it is the grace presented. He will be waiting for you, to forgive you. Is not that love as clear as crystal?
You remind me of another user, who comes on here venting his frustrations and his desire to command riches and resources. He thinks God is contrary to this and has even said he would sell out Jesus for some amount of millions. Little do you two know of His providence. Riches and wealth are of the Lord, read Ecclesiastes 5:19. God does provide and abundantly. VVhat you probably fail to do and is no surprise is honor the Lord with the finances you currently have. Yes, I am speaking of tithes and offerings.
The thing that "The Secret" gets right is expectation. The word of God speaks on expectation and faith. Most people don't know but in the first few books ever released speaking on the secret where it says "universe" it used to be God. However to reach a larger audience the people decided to replace the Lord with universe. In this way the book could have better sales. Deny God and get richer, this appealed to these writers. The love of money.
Your desire for riches needs to be in unison with the intent of the heart. That heart ought to be towards the Lord. To reach the lost and let His glory shine. To feed the hungry and help His people. To bless Israel and the Jewish people. You can have riches and it is to be blessed to be a blessings. And, yes you may eat there of, enjoy the fruits of such blessing.
Its sad when a person seeks wealth and not God, who gives wealth. You would seek riches through some other means than the Creator of all material. How silly. That a person would set aside God who speaks and creates in the blink of an eye to try to tarry for riches is, again, silly. There is an infinite abundance and the Lord God Almighty gives innovation freely. Yet you would seek riches, for riches' sake.
Seek the Kingdom, and His righteousness, and all these shall be added unto you. That is something you should take to heart. You see, what you are learning in "The Secret" is expectation and in part, faith. VVhat greater assurance do you have of wealth than the God who promises providence and blessings? A God who is not a liar, might I add. You could not muster any greater expectation and faith to amass wealth than to know that the Lord who does not lie makes these promises in His word.
Its funny. According to your responses the Lord will grant you wealth only so that you see its vanity. God is not against wealth and riches, the issue arises when that is your sole focus in life in avoidance of your true purpose in this life, God ordained. Have you not heard of billionaires committing suicide? Depression? They had a void in their heart, and it was Jesus. It was God. It was that relationship, that you are willing to toss aside for money.
The irony is that the day you come back to the Lord is the day you'll realize how much time you wasted. Yet, His grace is sufficient. According to you, He will forgive you. All those years wasted to obtain something that already came a part of the package of God's goodness and favor. You're robbing yourself, only eating a piece of the pie. Not even the best part, too. God, Himself, reconciled to you and fellowshipping with you.
I don't really know what I hope this message accomplishes. I guess to enlighten you. You seek that which is found in God. He is good and faithful to His word. He loves you and wishes to provide. Don't deny Him... He is for you and not against you. I guess I am trying to help you, to persuade you to avoid such a decision. You haven't made it yet, and even if you have you can still repent. Change your mind and lean on His goodness and promises. Let Him be your focus and those thing can be added to you.
God bless... and may you make the right decision. The righteous decision.
