Speaking on indians, what do you guys call people from India?

I never call natives of America Indians I hate the fact that its become a common thing. Even American museums call them indians and mexicans call them indios as in indians... I correct everyone I can to call natives NATIVE please do so as well. Indians are from India.

well, it was someone else that was mentioning indians, so I was just curious, didn't mean to offend anyone.
The last time i said "indians" about people from India, no one understood what I meant :p

No insulted people here, its just that word is one of the words I correct people with all the time and I thought it was cool that you recognized that natives in the americas should not be called indians.

we have native people here too, they all go under the category "samer", I know two of them, and they are both crazy :D (same style as us)

it is the actual title. There are many kinds of Samer though, so it is a collective term.

- hehe, I have been wondering that too.

I usually say Natives if I don't know which specific tribe.
