Well, you would use IT to help manage the business. Have an alternate plan for when the computer goes down, though.

I got my first at 14 I think. I am a bit worried that kids as young as 2-3 years have access to computers, with internet now

I wasn't going to buy one, but I needed one for my writing. I did take a few programming classes long ago (COBOL and BASIC, I think they were called).

cool, they are very close to machine code, aren't they? (like, not making sense if you try to read them?)

COBOL might have been like machine language. BASIC was more like English, if I remember. BASIC was fun. I had a computer in the eighties that used BASIC. I created my own games with it. They were very simple.

If I had to do it all over again, I would have studied computers, perhaps. In 1972 or 1973 I did take an interim (three week?) course on computers. They used punch cards in those days. Too bad I didn't take an interest then.
