oh! I know! let's talk about the origin of spam!
Spam was created by the Hormel Foods Corporation in 1890... here's a little bit on how spam works:

obviously, the online variety's name stems from the "food" variety... but did you know that the reason it is called spam has more to do with Monty Python than Hormel?

Due to the fact that the word spam is said a total of 130 times in long repetitive chains, and the character in this skit does not want it, (and because Monty Python is quite popular with computer geeks) it seemed an ideal name for unwanted, repetitive junk messages that clog up an otherwise pristine topic.

Spiced Ham is Spam. I thought it was made of cow meat refuse but pork meat refuse is worse. I work in a slaughterhouse & after seeing so much junk mixed in ground beef, I'm scared to ask, or see, what goes in spam. If you buy ground beef, cook it really well... really well. I take out the extra skin, bones, sinew, cartilage, large blood clots, tendons & small organs.
But at the rate the belt moves theres plenty of bad stuff that make it past me. I'm mainly there to stop the gloves & metal or items the employees drop in on accident, these people are hardworkers, not careless. Also there was water dripping on the conveyer belt yesterday, when it was spotted we threw out 14,000 pounds of product that had been contaminated & stopped the machine for the day so that helps.
